Excellent pliers. Incredibly versatile. Intuitive to handle and use. Not sloppy like other slip joint pliers. Multiple gripping features. They won't be kept away in a drawer. They will be living above the bench, within reach.

I got these for my grandson for Christmas. The grip is small and that is perfect for his little hands. He loves tools and I’m absolutely positive he will love these. Well made tool

Not sure what I think of these. I can say they are not the first long nose pliers I reach for. I saw a video on them, so I got them. Some day I may change this rating... in one direction or the other.

These pliers are well made and performed quite well for me. In the photo's you can see a steel fastener for heat shielding on my son's 2008 BMW 528i. The head of the fastener was damaged. This heat shield is right above the catalytic converters and is important for preventing the carpeting and paint from getting hot. It's a "NLA" item: No Longer Available from BMW, and had to be removed so that I could remove the transmission to gain access to the rear main engine seal for replacement. The IPS HLS-300 made short work of getting the damaged fastener out, allowing for removal of the heat shield. I've been working on cars and motorcycles as a hobby for over 40-years, and pliers are my favorite category of tool because of the great range in flexibility and the amount of involvement by the user. No other tool provides the feedback to the user the way a pair of pliers does. The IPS HLS-300 are now one of my favorites. Would definitely recommend purchase of these.

For the price these are the best long pliers on market and they have a cuts for the ugly hose springs clamps I recommend

These are very nice pliers. Excellent value, highly recommend. - Jaws align perfectly. - Minimal play in the joint (very good for a slip-joint). - Easy to use with just one hand, feel very solid. - Versatile jaw design, nice slim profile. - Nice machining and satin/matte chrome finish. - Very easy to get lots of clamping force, even with one hand (this is what impressed me the most).
