I needed something better than my ancient desktop PSU so thought I'd give this a go. So far so good, checking output against setpoint is less than 20mV difference. It's got a nice way to set the output using a combination of pressing the knob to select the digit and turning it to set the value.As others have said there's a very annoying beep by default every time you touch or turn anything, but instructions in the rear of the manual show how to turn this "feature" off very easily.Fast charging USB port is a nice touch.I checked the current limiting function by stalling a DC motor and it works perfectly.It's a really good looking PSU and very compact, the fan doesn't come on unless drawing lots of power, so most the time it's silent. I love the white display, nice and modern.It's early days, but if it's reliable then a great buy.

I have been meaning to get a PSU for ages and had this one in my wishlist for a while, picked up the 30V / 10A version for £60 on Prime Day excellent. I doubt that I will need 300W of power, but always nice to have under the hood for the same price as the 150W PSU. The unit is surprisingly small but well specified and not short on features.The buttons have a reassuring notched click to them when turned, and they also beep, however I quickly turned off the beeping using the system settings menu. The white LED on black display is large and clear and a definite upgrade to the retro red LED displays. As displayed in the photos the unit is very accurate and should be fine for most applications, bearing in mind that slight inaccuracy may be due to test leads having some resistance, and also test meters may also be slightly out of tolerance, unless you are a lab tech using properly calibrated equipment, this should be a welcome addition to your test bench. Inside the unit is neat and tidy, and uses suitable gauged cable and connectors to handle loads upto 10A, with quality components. The fan does not cut in often, but when it does it is reasonably quiet. The USB quick charge port, fast charges the latest Samsung Galaxy S22 phones with no problem, I do not have an iPhone but I guess it will work equally as well.This leads me to my minor grip with the unit, the binding posts are cheap as chips, they are okay I suppose, but not the type that I have been used to. There are no holes in the posts to thread cables through if you are out of banana plugs, or want to link the terminals together, and the black knobs can actually be unscrewed completely from the posts which could lead to them being lost? As someone also posted that one of their binding post snapped off, I decided to swap them out for some others that I found on Amazon 'CDL Micro Binding Terminal Posts', and they are much better quality. And yes I did intend to swap the position of the -ve and +ve posts, just didn't seem right.Also if you are after a pdf version of the manual head over to wanptek.com where you can download a copy.Overall very pleased with the product, it is solidly built, has great functionality, and I got it at a great price, just go easy on the binding posts.

I was initially sceptical as to how one could adjust the voltage, current limit and voltage limit with just two knobs, but the knobs have switches incorporated that you push to change modes, so it's dead easy to use. When not indicating these setting, the display shows the actual voltage and current being delivered. You can adjust the settings with the output on or off. It remembers the settings when powered down and returns to those settings when power is reapplied, APART from the output enable, which is automatically off after power up - a perfect combination. (The USB output is unaffected by the output enable button and is always on.)There is one minor niggle - I would have preferred the positive output connector on the right, but it's well indicated, so hardly a major problem when you get used to it.The only real negative is that there is a fair amount of (electrical) switching noise on the output. I measured about 200 mV. p-p at about 40 kHz. on my oscilloscope. That is enough to upset some logic circuits, but is easily suppressed with a couple of ferrite cores on the lead to whatever you're powering.

I have had this power supply for almost two years now, and it has been one of my best investments in equipment. When I first unpacked it, I was surprised how lightweight it was. One expects a power supply to be heavier - for all the radiators and transformers inside, so I thought at first that this power supply could be cheaply made and saving on components. These two years have proved that I was wrong. It was my primary solution for all my elctronics DIY projects and has not failed me once. The output voltage is quite precise and its current-limiting capabilities have saved my devices a few times. I would definitely recommend it as a desk power supply to any electronics hobbyist.

Good, clear display, easy to use.Above 5W power draw fan comes on every few mins for a few seconds and it is not a quiet fan... a major annoyance for me.Measured ~80mV pk-pk noise @ 24V 300mA where I'm using it.Beep on button press can be turned off if you read the manual...

Was initially pleased with the unit which has been used on around 3 occasions but has now unfortunately failed just over 3 months from purchasing.No apparent option to return for a repair or replacement and now out of pocket to the tune of £50 as outside of 30 day return window.Cannot recommend this item due to premature failure after comparatively very light usage.

The power supply has an excellent adjustability because it has a rotary encoder, combined with choice of setting which decimal you want to change, although i usually leave it at setting on the tenths. It's also very intuitive and looks nice.

Necesitaba una fuente de alimentación regulable de laboratorio y tras muchas búsquedas y comparativas me he decidido por finalmente ésta. Además tuve la fortuna de conseguirla con un descuento del 20% lo que se traduce en una relación calidad precio inmejorable. Estoy muy satisfecho con su desempeño.Se trata de una fuente de alimentación regulada de tensión continua ajustable y configurable. Puede trabajar en modo tensión constante o corriente constante en función de los requerimientos de la carga de forma automática. Su excelente pantalla de visualización muestra al unísono la tensión, corriente y potencia de salida generadas. Viene con una imprescindibles pinzas de cocodrilo ajustables a los pomos de salida con sus terminales. Como extra que se agradece y es muy útil dispone de un puerto USB de carga rápida de hasta 18W reconociendo todos los protocolos. Hay varios aspectos a destacar que pueden pasar por alto a algunos usuarios. La fuente es configurable. Basta apretar cinco segundos el botón de salida para acceder hasta seis apartados secuenciales de configuración tal como se detalla en en manual de instrucciones. Con el botón de regulación de voltaje vamos presionando y saltando de la lista de configuración y una de las cosas que he hecho es en el apartado 4 dedicado al timbre, eliminar el pitido que trae por defecto en mi caso al girar las botoneras. Cosa que a mí me parecía bastante molesta. Basta con girar el mando de tensión y seleccionar 0 es decir no hay pitido, y una vez llegado al final de la lista de configuración seleccionar pulsando de nuevo el botón de tensión para que se guarden los cambios. También puedes ajustar el brillo de la pantalla entre alto o bajo. Todo está explicado en las instrucciones. Otro punto crucial para el manejo correcto de esta fuente es el citado manual de instrucciones que solo viene por defecto en inglés impreso en la caja pero se puede conseguir sin problema alguno en perfecto castellano. Solo hay que fijarse bien y cuando hayas comprado la fuente al entrar en la ficha de producto junto a donde dice Escribir una opinión aparece un apartado de soporte de producto. Tan fácil como clicar y allí tenéis para descargar el manual de la fuente en español correctamente redactado. Nada de traducciones automáticas. Tal y como demuestro en las fotografías.Las medidas son preciosas medidas como se observa con un multímetro. Un apartado que me tranquiliza es la seguridad de la fuente de alimentación. Dispone de múltiples protecciones con sobretensiones y sobre todo contra cortocircuitos con la función programable OCP. Presionando 3 segundos el botón de regulación de corriente e iluminandose en la pantalla.La fuente es práctica, pequeña y ligera. Y comparada con otras tiene unos acabados y funciones de calidad. En definitiva si buscas una buena fuente de alimentación regulable para tus proyectos de electrónica esta es sin duda una buena opción con una excelente relación calidad precio.

Il me fallait une alimentation de labo pour le bricolage et j'ai testé cette alimentation sans grand espoir, j'ai fini par la garder ! Elle fonctionne au top, en plus avec le bouton d'activation vous pouvez regler la tension et l'intensité avant d'envoyer l'energie. Je l'utilise plus que ce que je pensais, elle ma sauvée la mise pour recharger un pc dont l'alimentation avait lachée !
