Zebra Symbol DS8178-SR 2D/1D Wireless Bluetooth Barcode Scanner/Imager, Includes Cradle and USB Cord (Upgraded Model of DS6878-SR)

This barcode scanner works good. Unfortunately, I don’t think I received a new one. The box looks like a resealed box from a third party not from manufacturer. The seal one each was unsealed. I don’t think I will buy from this company again especially the seller claims that I’m paying for a new one. Lucky for me the item is working for now. I gave it a three stars because it is working. The seller itself might just get one star. Update this review: I am returning this item and will not going to buy from this seller ever. The 2D scanning does not work. The barcode scanner I received has a label that said, “not to be sold or use outside of China.” I wonder did this seller smuggles these barcode scanner from China. Update: DocStockerStore Is the seller I brought my second barcode scanner from and it is also fulfill and ship by Amazon. When I received it, I notice that this looks like the real thing. When I opened the box everything in the package is new and does not have a warning sticker telling me that this barcode is not to be sold or use outside of China like the first one. Everything works the way it should be and this seller sells the real thing not the smuggled ones from China. The seller gets five stars and the product also gets five stars too.

Plug and play, works with dwellinglive. Identical to the scanner they sell for near $1500. I took the risk so you don't have to. Only 4 stars because the grip design makes it more likely to drop. Also when wiped with sanitizer it sometimes goes on the fritz. Wipes are very important for my team.

We've used these for years at work and decided to get a replacement since we had alot of wear and tear on it. So far this replacement is holding up. I would say the scan range is up to about 2 feet away. Haven't actually measured.

These came in with incorrect serial numbers and a label across the box that says "NOT FOR SALE, SERVICE, OR USE OUTSIDE OF CHINA" yet these were sold the us in the US. DO NOT PURCHASE

I am using this product to scan 1D and 2D barcode. So far the product is easy to setup. Will update later when use.
