Great set
After reading the bad reviews On this leak down set, I was hesitant, but when reading reviews of other sets where most reviews were good, but B still had bad reviews, I decided to Go with OTC. Along with their compression test kit, I trouble shooted a cylinder 2 misfire on a V6. 5 of the 6 cylinders tested good, compression held on the gauges and were consistent and accurate to my air compressor gauges. Helped me diagnosis Bad exhaust valves for my misfire. Overall, very happy with the product quality, accuracy, and price point. I would not hesitate to but this again

Quality leak down tester
Please avoid all the cheap Chinese leak down testers on Amazon. This is a proper leak down tester and diagnostic tool. If use correctly, it will give you accurate readings and help you diagnose blowing head gaskets, cracked blocks, cylinder and valve leakage amongst others. Compared to the cheap sets polluting Amazon, that are all the same by the way, this one uses quality air hose fittings and gauges. It is built very sturdy to withstand life in a shop. Included are m10, M12 and M18 adapters and the hose is hidden within the case. There is operating instructions and a handy chart to read the percentage of leakage on the right hand gauge. If you need to perform a leak down test, you cannot afford to have inaccurate readings. Buy a quality tool that allows you to get the job done right the first time and save yourself a ton of frustration. You're already going to be spending enough replacing the head gasket so don't cheap out on your leak down tester

A Good product which provides reliable and accurate diagnostic reading results
The OTC Leak-down tester is a well made, functional, and accurate product comparative to similar, and or less expensive units. Speaking from experience, the need for accurate reliable results is well worth the marginal additional price point.

Buy for life
I love harbor freight but their leak down tester performs very poorly and inaccurate same with other cheap leak down testers. This one works perfectly and compared to snap-on it is a very good price. Will give you accurate readings and did not have any issues with it leaking. Fit perfectly on my car without using the adapters but still nice to have.

Works, mediocre quality. Probably worth the $100 I paid.
Helped me verify the engine is solid 174-186psi on all cylinders (cold).However I did have to purchase a new input air quick connect (male). The one it shipped with was one I am not familiar with and could not find the size for. It was at least 3/8 and had a huge shoulder.

OTC cylinder leak down tester
Did just the trick found my problems, only thing I would say is the hose getting bent in the box had to be straightened before I could use it, couldn’t get it to screw in the spark plug hole. Once I got it straightened, it worked great.

The gauges are large and easy to read.Comes with a nice storage container to keep it all together..Cons- The only Con worth mentioning is the length of the hose, although "NOT" a deal breaker it would greatly enhance the product further if OTC supplied a LONGER hose.Extremely satisfied with the purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to purchase a "Reliable and Accurate" tester that will last you for years.Furthermore OTC manufactures for Mac and Snap On tools.

Adaptor fitting size issue.
The 10mm adaptor diameter is a little too big to fit in to the spark plug hole recess. I got it machined off .5mm to 9.5mm instead.
