The remote to my DVD player died. I ordered this one, which is exactly like the one that came with the player. As advertised, there was no setup procedure: just put in the batteries and push the buttons. Simple and easy.

Works as it is advertised as a replacement remote contrl for Sony DVD players, even units that are over 10 years old! A good solid remote contrl that appears to have a solid build and compatability. We have purchased two of these units and have had no issues with pairing them with the DVD players we purchsed them for, and they're a "no brainer," very easy to use.

This remote arrived a day earlier than expected. So easy to use we put the batteries in and voila it worked I was so afraid I was going to have to figure out how to program it to my player.
