MailMaster StoreMore Mailbox
I bought this mailbox since the one that came with the house we recently purchase was very flimsy. It was fairly easy to install and from owning it a couple of months it seems to do the trick. Its not very secure in the sense that letting your mail sit in there for a couple of weeks will be okay unless you have sensitive mail.Otherwise, please by all means go to the post office and have your mail held. Mailbox is really nice looking it matches our house and is very sturdy and allows for about 2 weeks worth of mail and maybe small box packages. Its waterproof since its made of vinyl. I would recommend as an upgrade mailbox from a simple metal mailbox that you stake into the ground. I am very happy with ours. Its also different from all other mailboxes in our street. I also got it for a great price from Amazon since Home Depot sells it for a lot more online. Amazon shipped very fast. Would recommend.

Great Mailbox
We are very pleased with this mailbox. Assembly was pretty straight forward. Didn't really need the written instructions, but they were helpful. As others have suggested, the only real challenge was installing the lock assembly. I used a file to create a little additional room because I was unsure about how much force I should use to insert the assembly. Other than that, everything fit just fine. If you have an existing mailbox post, this will all be a breeze. I didn't, so that is where I spent most of my energy, but I was going to have to do that anyway. As for the appearance, from a distance I'm not sure my neighbors realized this was plastic. Up close, it's pretty obvious. But it still looks good, and feels way more solid that just a box on a post. The only change I made from the standard installation was the house numbers. I didn't love the look of the stickers, so I installed some metal numbers (see photos), which I felt gave it a little nicer appearance. We considered painting the "stone" as some others have done to make it look more realistic, but in the end felt that it was good enough as is. If you compare the price to some other "faux stone" mailboxes, this is a fraction of the cost. I assume the others looks more like real stone, but at a certain price I may as well use real stone. So, bottom line, I recommend this mailbox, which has generated lots of positive feedback from my neighbors.

Nice box
Iโve had this box for over 8 years now. Still looks good. Of course the lock doesnโt work anymore and the back door only hooks to one holding clip now but other that that a wonderful box.

Amazing! Looks great too!
We moved to a house without a mailbox, previous owners used this place as a weekend getaway, never received mail here. So when moving in, we needed to get a mailbox. Since I never needed to buy a mailbox before, I came to Amazon to shop. We wanted something big, something that could receive packages and not just letters. And we wanted something more than a mailbox-on-a-post. Well this is it! It does everything we need, and it has some style too. It sits on top of a 4x4 inch wood post which is secured in the ground. That was the hardest part of the installation - getting the 4x4 wood post installed and straight! Assembly was easy. No, there weren't any pre-drilled holes. But there were dimples in the plastic that make starting the self-tapping screws really easy! There is a door in the floor that you open up for the letter carrier to drop your mail or smaller packages. Note, you have to do this. The letter carrier will not move the floor panel for you. And this is just for mail. UPS isn't going to deliver to your PO Box anyway.

Cool Maibox Upgrade
This is a great mailbox upgrade. I originally wanted a brick mailbox until I found out the cost to have one built (800 plus) So when I found this via Google to Amazon and viewed the photos and reviews I was all in. Why not? Especially after seeing the painted ones. Alan Tesch review and photo was very helpful. Out of the box I thought it looked a little chessy. So bought my paint, primed the entire box with a gray primer and that totally changed the look. Bought spray paint in various colors to mirror the brick of our house and small bottles of multi-surface paint in the craft section. I begin to transform it and this thing really started to look like brick. I also painted the mailbox door black which paint does not adhere good to the door but I primed and painted it anyway, looks better. The assembly was super easy. The lock does fit tight which is what you need, you don't want the lock to be loose. I carved the hole out a little and then hammered it in with a rubber mallet. The roof is plastic and yes it only has dimples but you are using self tapping screw so there is no issue. I used the Gibraltor 4x4 anchor no dig. This made the final install super easy. I think my paint job came out great. Did my install late evening so when the neighbors see it the next day we will see how many think its real brick. I have attached my photo. Can't wait to set my flower bed around this box. I will upload another set of photos when flower bed is done. Oh the only reason I don't give this 5 stars is everything has room for improvement. Mailbox door should be black not gray. Better looking numbers and perhaps this area should have a metal plate. Bought my own numbers. Great upgrade for great price

No Ordianary Mailbox
If you want to dress up your Homefront a little, try one of these mailboxes. This one looks like the Bedford rock on our home and matches perfectly w/o painting. The special features are lock mail while on vacation or away a few days and the mailman can lift the flat platform and place mail into the enclosed post. Two keys are sent and you must not lose them; there's no replacements available, so it's important to know that up front. I've seen other people post about lost keys, so you need a heads up about that. You can enter the mailbox from the road front or behind the box without having to step onto the road especially if its a busy one and you have children or are an elderly person who brings the mail in. It is made well and quite durable. This is our second mailbox like it. We had one where we once lived and snow plows came through and never caused the mailbox any damages. I knew in comparison to metal mailboxes that were often knocked off their posts, this one remained intact. I did buy illuminated at night larger number stickers, so it could be seen from the roadway at night too. I think that helps keep the mailbox safer from a distance and easily noticed, so it doesn't get knocked down. Something one might want to consider when paying more for this kind of mailbox. This mailbox does secure your mail with magnetic lock on doors and you can use the back one for safety; what a great feature! I've seen some boxes on here that were painted the color of their house and they looked magnificent if you're artsy and decide you want to personalize it more it really is a nice mailbox and will last for many years.

I love this mailbox
I love this mailbox. I didn't like the original color and change all things. I bought some spray paint and paint tape that is all actually if you wanna buy them from Home Depot or Lowe's you can buy a 4x4 post that it will need when you install the mailbox. Firs of all, I paint all the shape with light brown color then I left it 2 days for drying in my garage. Second, after 2 days I put the tape between the lines and paint in the lines gray color that you can see in the picture. Third, I paint the same way different color that I put the tape around the section where I am gonna paint (you can see in the picture). The colors are your chose but those colors are that I used very close to the original bricks. (I spent more than an hour to find exact those colors in the Home depot :) Forth, I diged 2 feet deep ground and put the post there rest of side goos in to the mailbox you can see it how you gonna do in in the manual too. There are 2 hols inside from the hols you can get the screws to the post. Last, I put very bottom 3 side 4x4 too because of the lawn movers guys can touch to the paint with their machine. Now, it is so safe and looks like a real brick mailbox.
