The Nintendo Switch OLED in white is an absolute joy to use. The upgraded screen is incredibly clear, vibrant, and crisp — everything looks richer and more detailed, whether you’re exploring open worlds or playing cosy games. It also feels lovely to play; the build quality is solid, the colours pop beautifully, and the handheld experience is smoother and more immersive than ever. There’s also an excellent selection of games available, from big-name titles to charming indie favourites, so there’s always something new to dive into. The only issue I encountered was when I took it to a shop to trade in. They initially told me it was a foreign machine, which was quite worrying. It turned out the console itself was actually an English model — only the box was foreign. A small hiccup, but worth knowing in case anyone else has the same experience. Overall, it’s a fantastic console with a stunning display and great library of games. Just double-check the packaging if you’re buying or trading in!

The first thing you notice is the screen, the OLED display is stunning. The colours are so bright and vibrant, blacks are deeper, and everything just looks much clearer compared to the original Switch. Playing games in handheld mode feels like a completely different experience. The build quality also feels more premium. The new adjustable stand on the back is way sturdier and actually useful now, perfect for tabletop gaming. The speakers sound better too, louder and clearer. It runs smoothly, the setup is quick, and switching between handheld, docked, and tabletop modes is effortless. The Joy-Cons and dock look really clean and modern, giving it a nice fresh look. Battery life is solid, WiFi feels a bit more stable. Overall, it’s a fantastic upgrade if you play handheld a lot or want the best Switch experience. Brilliant for both kids and adults. Totally worth it, we love it.

I am absolutely loving this device but I am experiencing a slight issue with the A button on mine and I have only been using it a few days! I will be contacting customer services over the coming days. But other than that I am loving it.

I bought this for my partner and the product arrived extremely fast so no issues there. However, once the product had arrived the packaging wasn’t up to my expectations of a device that cost so much; it was wrapped in bubble wrap and looked like it had been thrown about a little. The first thing I noticed was the actual product packaging was in Mandarin and then when I opened it up all the instructions were also in Mandarin. This wasn’t a major issue for me but for someone that might need the instructions for setting the decide up it’s not ideal. I powered the device on and it worked no problem, the device had been clearly imported from Hong Kong so I conducted research and found there may be slight issues with power input compatibility. For this reason I returned the device and had my money back within a couple days, in the meantime I bought the same product elsewhere. Overall, the product worked from what I could initially tell, the sellers customer service was great I just couldn’t trust a product that had been imported and that I paid so much for without warranty.

Hong Kong Version suppose to be U.K. version - Still works the same though. Box was damaged but suppose to be brand new?

Box damaged but meant to be brand new. This is a Hong Kong version which means the item won't be honoured under UK/EU warranty. Incredibly disappointed.

The box had no factory-seal tab, a bit of dust inside, and extra packing material, so it looked like someone had opened it before. Still, everything was intact, perfectly wrapped, and the console works flawlessly All in all, the Switch OLED is a stellar upgrade and worth every penny. Just double-check your seller’s region and inspect the packaging when it arrives to avoid any surprises—then you’ll be diving into brilliant, portable gaming in no time. Five stars!

The Switch has a really nice variety of immersive single player games like Pokemon and Breath of the Wild, and also fun, easy-to-pick-up multiplayer games like Mario Party and Clubhouse Games 51. I find this versatility of the console a valuable aspect, as it often allows me to have a great time playing games with friends who don’t even particularly like games, while still having great solo experiences. The eShop has some nice digital exclusives that are worth looking into, and also the occasional sale. Device feels nice to hold in hand and the OLED screen really brings out the beautiful colors of the games. The wider flip stand on the back of the OLED Switch also provides much better stability over the older, narrow one. Amiibo compatibility is a nice thing, though it isn’t frequently talked about. Their functions vary from game to game and from franchise to franchise, but they are essentially figurines that have bonuses in certain games, such as giving exclusive cosmetic items or game boosters. It’s a nice little feature that elevates your gaming experience. (It was able to read my 3DS-era Amiibo so I think it’s also backwards compatible). If possible, though, get the Pro Switch Controller along with this Switch as the flatness of the joy-cons can make holding the device for extended periods a big strain on the hands. A worthwhile purchase in general!
