I purchased this item from Amazon awhile ago but just recently got around to eating it. Yes ๐ they are Low Carb Chocolate Muffins, so what I do is place them in the microwave for about 12 seconds then they are ready to eat yummy yum yum ๐.

Tasty. Pricey - but worth it.
What a lovely treat! These are somewhat smaller than I expected. They are the size of a homemade muffin, not those nice big bakery size muffins. The texture of low carb products is always the telling point. I would say these are a little spongier than standard muffins or cupcakes, but not in an undesirable way. There are a few grainy bits but otherwise a very smooth and regular consistency. Very moist! Unlike many low-carb products, I didn't notice any intestinal distress from eating it. These are so nice to enjoy with a cup of tea or coffee! I will buy again, but probably only as a special treat because they are expensive.

Expensive, But So Worth It If You Don't Want To Make Your Own Low-Carb Treats
If you're on a low-carb diet, or maintain a low-carb or sugar-free lifestyle, then these muffin are a lifesaver! They actually taste good! They're not as greasy or rich as Otis Spunkmeyer muffins, but when you're craving a sweet treat and don't want the sugar or carbs, these definitely hit the spot. This is my third time ordering the chocolate muffins. I'd order a box every month, but they do happen to be quite pricey. There are a lot of great recipes online for making your own low carb chocolate muffins, so if you're short on cash I recommend that option. I keep these as a back-up for when I want a treat but don't have the time, will-power, or ingredients to make something myself. They hold up well in the fridge, but if you are going to freeze them I recommend putting the whole container into a double gallon-sized ziplock bag and doing so, to prevent frost from creeping in through the box and settling on top of the muffins. Even with the lid closed, the container that comes with the muffins aren't the best for freezer storage. The best approach might be vacuum seal if you can manage if without breaking down the muffins. Otherwise, wrapping each in wax paper and them double-bagging them into separate sandwich sized baggies might be the best move. The muffins really do taste great, but if you're going to freeze them without proper care, they'll get yucky and stale. Pro-tip 1: warm a muffin in the microwave for 20-30 seconds (depending on how powerful your microwave is), and then have with a glass of milk (or almond milk, half&half, or even 3 tbsp heavy cream if you're on keto). Pro-tip 2: For super-duper yumminess, make your own frosting and coat the muffin with it: 2oz cream cheese in the microwave for 15 seconds, and then mash with 1 tbsp of cream, 1/4 tsp of vanilla extract (optional), and 1-3 tbsp of erythritol, and then spread on defrosted muffin while still warm. This forms a delicious vanilla frosting for the muffin!

Tasty muffin. Lousy shipping.
I have ordered this product twice. I recommend you don't ship in a plastic bag. The muffins were crushed. Very disappointed l.

The chocolate muffin is unabatedly NOT "delicious" . The texture is dry ( not from being old ,though) and the flavor would not make it top twenty for any event . This muffin did not curb my desire for a treat ------I didn't even finish it .It tastes like an "easy -bake-oven-type of treat . It has 23 grams of fat , so it really is not a healthy treat for anyone !!!!!! The price is high for a pastry that is neither a nutritious food nor a delectable treat for humans or animals !!!!! I truly question the reviews that claim this muffin is "yummy. "

Bakery good muffins!
One of the things I have been missing most while on Atkins is pastries. This muffin is very good. With most diet foods when you say they are good, you mean "compared to other diet stuff with bad aftertaste, this is good" but in this case it is actually a really good muffin! It has totally satisfied my carb/muffin/croissant/bakery dealie cravings. I was curious about the Carb-0-licious company and could find almost nothing about them online. they are from Brooklyn and they appear to operate out of a small bakery. I wish they would sell these nationwide because I would buy them all the time. The price plus shipping on these is high, but I will order them from time to time. I think it is high because they are not mass produced. They were super fresh when I received them. I hope this company decides to expand and sell in more places. Yum!

Too dry to be enjoyable
After spending so much money on two different flavors of these muffins, I was completely disappointed with both orders. They were so dry, I could hardly swallow them. The flavors were barely recognizable, and I felt like I wasted my money on this product. I will never buy them again.

Moist, chewy, CHOCOLATY!!
These are a bit pricy (when you add shipping costs) - BUT, as low-carb muffins go (3 net carbs per large, fist-sized muffin!), these are the very best-tasting that I've tried. Now, upon saying that, I'm talking about the chocolate. I've tried other flavors, and was not as impressed. They were not as moist, and the chocolate-chip muffins had an almost "lemony" taste that did NOT mix well with the chocolate chips to me. But back to the chocolate muffins - These were yummy - Moist and delicious, and not at all skimpy on the chocolate flavor. Well-done, "Carb-licious!!" =) I will order again and again..
