This is my preferred notebook for journaling and planning. I’ve filled many over the past few years.The paper takes all pens well, including fountain pen ink. They are stitched, not stapled and I’ve never had one fall apart, and I take them in and out of my travelers notebook at least once a day.I’ve used the blank and the dot grid and I like them both. I will totally buy more when these are full!

I love wanderer's notebook and these inserts. nobody wants to pay more than a few bucks for a one time notebook, especially leather, so I love that this is completely reusable. This is my third set I'm buying, and I'm trying the lined ones this time, last two times I've used the blank ones. I'm sloppy so I figure the lines might help.I use these for bible study, I try to always write everything I study to keep it fresh in my memory, and available for future generations that might look back and find my notes interesting. I use it with a pentel energetic pen, which is a pretty thick ink. It's a hybrid gel and liquid ink and is super smooth, long lasting and comfortable. I can use the back of these pages pretty well with that.I use leather notebook, high quality pen and these refills to keep my most serious aspect of my life in a long lasting format for the future years to come. Excellent paper, never had any accidental rips, been using almost every night past few years.

Good value for price. So far it’s held up pretty good. Have only tried them out with pencil so far.Update: I have been using these sketchbooks for 2 years at this point and I have tried just about every art medium in it. I’ve drawn with markers, I’ve painted and i’ve used colored pencils. They have held up so well!! I’ve ordered these sketchbooks at least twice now. Also paint markers turn out really good on the cover. It could also be used in a fancy cover holder thing but I like stapling elastic to make a way keep it closed.

This journal has met all of my needs and is so portable...just LOVE it. I've been using it for a 100 day art project, so I am really enjoying being able to look through my process in one handy journal. My friend who is a writer admired it so much that I got her one for her birthday. The leather is soft, the elastic keeps everything tucked in nicely, and the pen attachment and clip have come in very handy. It feels wonderfully "old school" but has all the necessities of contemporary life. I highly recommend this wonderful companion journal.

I absolutely love these journal inserts. They fit perfectly in to my A5 leather traveler’s notebook. The covers are great for painting on. I painted these two inserts with acrylic paints. The inside is he’s are nice and thick and a dream to write on. However my one complaint is the description says each insert has a total of 40 sheets. They ONLY have 30 sheets per insert. I triple-counted. So now this is not going to meet my needs fully and I’m going to have to find some extra pages somewhere else. Please make sure these are 40 sheets per insert or change the description in the listing. Otherwise these are awesome journal inserts.

I like these way better than the stapled ones. I do scrapbooking and when using the stapled ones the pages would fall apart . Don’t have to worry about that with these because they the pages are stitched with thread, not held together with two flimsy staples!

The media could not be loaded. Good size and texture. I use to write and draw my sketchs. I didnt test with different type of pencils. I use graphite pencil and it feels good

These are a fantastic alternative to midori sized inserts. The paper is of very nice quality and does hold up to fountain pen ink. There hasn't been any bleed through. I use EF, F, medium, broad, and stub nibs. With wet nibs and wider nibs the ink can be visible on the other side of the page, but it hasn't bled through. When compared to my midori inserts, the same result happens with my larger nibs and wet nibs. The paper quality is absolutely comparable to midori inserts. I'll be ordering more of these instead of midori.I do highly recommend these to anyone who is looking for a fantastic alternative to midori inserts.
