Perfect For Organizing & Displaying Teas
I used the tins to organize all you teas and put them in a kitchen drawer. I have never been happier. The clear lids give me a perfect preview of the tea I am selecting. The lids fit perfectly, keeping the teas nice and fresh. (The labels you see in my photo were NOT included with the tins, they are simple chalk board stickers.)

Awesome for Spices!
I absolutely LOVE these containers! My husband is Indian and I enjoy baking, so between the two of us we had a pretty hefty spice collection when we got married. Mine were all in different shaped jars, his were mostly in bags. It made our spice cabinet look and smell awful. Mine were falling all over, his were spilling all over. This was the perfect option! (I have both the 8oz and the 4oz, and will post this review on both). I write on the sides with sharpies as to what is in them, that way I can stack them up along the back of the cabinet and don't have to look in them to see. I can just see it right there on the side. (Alcohol takes off sharpie if you ever want to change the label). The other amazing thing is that my spice cabinet does not smell like spices anymore. The lids stay on very securely without being difficult to open. (Although I can't say I dropped one on the floor yet to see JUST how secure they are). I will say they do not fit ALL of our spices (Some of the indian spices come in BIIIGGG bags). But this lets us keep a working portion at our finger tips, and we store the extra in a container out of the way. I do recall (I organized these a year ago) that the typical american sized spices fit in the 4oz containers. I am aware that the lids let light in, and for ideal spice storage they should be in the dark....my husband wanted a "window" and I wanted them dark....so the compromise was to keep them in the cabinet. (Ok, really, you're only supposed to keep spices for 4-6 months or something, so who am I kidding with this "ideal" spice storage. I'm sure I've had some for years...)

I think they will be very pretty.. BTW
I saw the American Express truck was gone by the time I could get to my door..but hey,I'm elderly & couldn't get there any faster..even though I called out, "Im coming" I'm giving these tins 5 stars because I only need 6 oz..So these should be okay.. If they're NOT, I'll be back..I make home made fudge & that is what I will be putting in these tins..w/ some Christmas stickers on them..I think they will be very pretty..BTW, when I say elderly< I'm saying elderly in my case is 92..

I ordered 6 of these and LOVED what I received
I ordered 6 of these and LOVED what I received. I wanted 6 more cans so I reordered: same seller, same cans, or so I thought. I did NOT get the same item. The cans sent the second time were smaller only 2.6 X 1.75 and the quality was not of the same caliber. As you can see from my picture, the one on the left is the correct can as describe in the listing, the one on the right is the one I got that is the wrong size. Just beware!!!

These tins are GREAT!!!
So I originally ordered these tins to put tea in, because I buy loose leaf tea from teavana and get about 2 oz at a time, so I have lots of flavors in small quantities. The problem is that most "tea tins" are 2-3 times bigger than what I need, so there is a lot of wasted space. This size tin is super for the tea in the quantities that I get. BEST PART: They are magnetic. So I ordered these magnets http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00A5TD6CA/ref=oh_details_o00_s01_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and put two on the back of each tin and store them right on my fridge! I peel the label off my teavana bag and stick it on the window. You could also write on the window with a dry erase marker to labe what is in there. I'm also thinking you could just cover the window with dark paper or fabric if you need something that doesn't let the light in. (I should probably do that for my teas!) Now I have more tea, so I ordered another set of these tins. I like this idea so much that I am now ordering the smaller 4 oz tins and a set of 100 magnets to put my spices in. These are a real space saver and have a ton of uses. This is also the best price I've seen for this kind of tin. I've had no issues getting the lids off and they seem to have a great seal to keep things air tight. I think these would be great to store small craft items (beads, brads) or office items (paper clips) in as well. Such a versatile product. Can't say enough good things about them!

Not what I wanted with no option to return
So I bought these by mistake thinking they had magnets on the back and they do not. Yes, my mistake but now I'm stuck with these stupid tins because the seller doesn't offer return options. Plus the tins don't close well, its a struggle to close them once they are opened. The lids don't line up and its difficult to deal with. These tins are more of a hassle than anything else but I see it as a lesson learned not to trust sellers who don't offer return options.Boo purchase.

not as good as the original
not as good as the original - looked identical to the first set of 6 i bought, which were great for storing small batch of different loose leaf tea. but the second set i ordered all come with lids that are way too loose. which becomes really annoying, not only are they not as good keeping out the moisture, the tin also drops as i grab onto the lid and the content fell out, leaving me with a counter full of mess. i hesitate to store anything in the newly ordered ones now.

Great for my Loose Tea Leaves
I am a loose tea lover (more along the lines of a Teavana lover). Nevertheless, as much as I love Teavana the prices of their tin cans are not worth it. So, as a smart buyer I came across these 8oz tin cans on Amazon. For the price, it is definitely worth it. The product came on time and as advertised. The associates at Teavana tell me that the tea is good for update two weeks; however, my tea is still fresh as of date. I can smell the aroma of the tea through the top. The are small enough for the amount of loose tea that I buy on average as well as their small size makes it easy to store. I would definitely recommend this product if you're looking a nice quality inexpensive little tin to store your loose tea or spices.
