Works well
Worked well except one particular cable that didn’t work for some reason. Luckily I had a spare port so had a spare cable. Otherwise I’d have to order a spare cable

Excellent switch, works very well.
The remote selector switch is a definite plus. I bought it to upgrade a smaller unit and am quite pleased with the way it works. It functions perfectly. The cables that came with it are a good length. Four of them are approximately four feet long and the other four are five feet long. Overall I am very pleased with this unit.

Greatly simplifies...
I've been through a few KVMs trying to keep up with cable types and good simple switching, I may have found the right option now. I needed 5 ports, so this gives me room to grow, and while I had some hesitation over the single cable with USB tail, it seems to work on Intel Nuc with Linux, MacBook Pro, Mini and an Odroid. Selection is seamless, and the remote buttons with indicators are exacly what I needed for my desktop.I dropped a star for 2 reasons. One of the cables doesn't make good contact in a NUC; holding it sideways helped. And I'm having some trouble with it staying synced with my MacBook Pro. Video and connected USB (audio in the monitor) drop when it does this, and while I think the issue is mostly the MacBook, it didnt do it as much on my previous KVM.But definitely a win for simplifying cabling and ease of use.

100% non-functional after 5 months and maybe 10 uses.
I have 2 of these Yinker KVM switches; one for my network rack and another I use on another rack at my bench work station. The work bench KVM started with cycling through all of the lights and would not allow me to select an individual input. I would unplug and plug back in it's power and it would start to work after a couple cycles of that. Then it started to jump to the 8th input and slowly blink; eventually leading to the 8th channel being the only channel that will light up, even when plugging into a different input; and NOTHING WORKS.Only a 30day warranty on these so BUYER BE WARE!

Works fine
It went in easily. You have to put all the computers close by (I stand the laptops on the back edge in a plastic file divider). The wiring supplied is excellent, hdmi + usb at the port end, separate hdmi and usb at the computer end. Except if your computer has the hdmi port on the opposite edge from the usb ports, you need to buy a 1 ft usb m to usb f cable to reach across the laptop.I have it in series with a 4 port usb3.0 switch, as one of the 4 choices, with no problem. Not using the remotes.

Better customer support does not exist!
Nice compact KVM. Easy to install and use. And having the easy-2-access auxiliary USB ports (that smoothly transitions between switched systems) on the front is a nice bonus. My older unit had them on the back, which was a pain, due to being hard to access, not to mention nearly impossible to see!?! Considering the functionality ~AND~ the 8 included very high-quality cable set... this deal can't be beat! Especially not at this price-point. And the Y-style nicely-flexible cables keep the routing clean. But better than all else, is their magnificent... kind, caring, communication and courteous customer support! I had some anomalous problems at first... but they stepped right up and immediately sent me a replacement!! It's been some time since I've experienced a company of such integrity and high caliber. Needless to say, I highly recommend them. Unlike most sadly these days... they ~really~ stand behind their gear! I would buy from them again without the slightest hesitation.

It took two, but I love it
The media could not be loaded. The first one seemed to be plagued with issues, but I was willing to give it a second chance. I have a server cabinet that I wanted to simply connecting to the servers (5 of them) when I am troubleshooting. Yes there is a iDRAC, but I want a singular keyboard, mouse, & monitor to access them. Accessing the rear of the cabinet isn't ideal. This KVM on the second shot worked flawlessly. It's not the most appealing device (The paint coating looks crummy). I didn't buy it for It's looks. I am just trying to manage your expectations. The second unit worked right out of the box. This is not a full 1U device, but who cares, it works.I added a video to show there is a little delay when switching. Not a big deal. The device also seems to draw power from the USBs.I am very happy with the end results.
