Hey ladies, odor is normal, especially after menopause as our bodies were created to flush everything out when we were having monthly cycles. I am 58 years old and went through menopause seven years ago. I started noticing nasty odors coming from my vaginal area and couldn’t stand it. It disgusted me and I certainly didn’t want that to bother me or my husband during intimacy. I have been getting auto ship on this Azo product for about 4 years now and it has made a tremendous difference! I no longer have that disgusting “fish” odor, which seemed to be worse after sex, but can happen anytime. I don’t use it every day. I do use it 3 to 4 times a week and again, I’m odor free! Plus I’ve also noticed that when I feel like I may have a urinary tract infection coming on I will use one or two for a few days in a row and voilà, No urinary tract infection! That could be just my experience, but I will bet not, that there are others who also find this beneficial when they feel a UTI coming on! I can’t speak highly enough about this product! This is my husband's account. But I want share my struggles with chronic yeast infections. It is so awful i want to cry every time i get it. But I guess everyone has their struggles with health. If you're reading my comment looking for advice i hope my experience helps you but of course, follow your doctor's advice as this is stricly my experience. I have PCOS, not diabetic, haven't had a period in 4 months now. This absence of menstruation follows by me getting yeast infection that's very hard to get rid of. Diflucan 1 tab doesn't help. As soon as I notice something is going on, I immediately cut out the sugar from my diet (fruits, pickles, citrus) and caffeine (and it's so hard because I love my coffee). The last time I had this issue it was about 6 months ago. I used baking soda diluted water to clean my intimate areas up to 5 times a day, along with vishnevski ointment on a tampon. It took 3 days for me to get rid of it and i could not believe it. In the past I had to take pills for 2 days, use nystatin ointment but this time around nothing helped. I was in agony day and night, my vagina was bleeding from me scratching it. I was extremely grateful for my mom recommending tampons with vishnevski as It is something that's done from where I am from, advice from my mom how they dealt with this issue back in the days. I was extremely glad she remembered about it because it didn't cause me no irritation like otc Monistat did (it burned like hell my vagina was swollen and irritated badly) I slept like a baby and finally got the relief with vishnevski. I learned since I'm prone to yeast (and no uti thank God) I noticed a pattern where if I use the toilet paper that's not from my home I get the yeast as well. This time around is what exactly happened. I got the symptoms so I immediately started on tampon with vishnevski, however, I didn't follow no sugar diet. I felt it was going away so I was enjoying my food. WHAT A FOOL. It seemed to trigger it grow stronger and it wouldn't go away after 1 week of me using the ointment day and night. I am so pissed at myself I did not follow the diet because it is week 2 and I am still struggling getting rid of yeast. This is where I started looking into boric acid and found AZO. What I am doing now is using boric acid 2 times a day and I do put vishnevski tampon together and i took diflucan pills for 3 days. I am on a no sugar diet, and I bought feminine wipes and only use them when I use public restrooms from now on. Never ever again using the paper from the public areas! The result is my itchiness decreased, discharge is less. I am tempted to have a cup of coffee but I am holding on until my symptoms completely resolve. I do notice that discharge is getting more clear and luqidy which is a good sign for me. I apologize for detailed description but I hope this helps whoever is going through this hell like me. Si tienes infecciones recurrentes y resistentes a medicamentos convencionales por cándida cómpralo! 😍 Desde hace varios años tengo infecciones recurrentes por cándida. El último episodio que tuve me duró más de 3 meses, probé de todos los medicamentos, tomados, en óvulos, cremas, cambié mi dieta, me suplementé. Mi ginecólogo me pidió un cultivo y confirmamos que la cándida que tengo es resistente a todos los medicamentos convencionales, el único tratamiento que podía ofrecerme era por medio intravenoso en el hospital, desesperada comencé a buscar y a leer artículos científicos sobre la cándida recurrente y sus tratamientos. Así es que decidí darle una oportunidad a este nuevo tratamiento. Use los óvulos 7 días ( más el cambio de dieta y los probióticos orales) y después utilice probióticos vía vaginal por 8 días más, Desde el tercer día de aplicarme el ácido bórico todos mis síntomas desaparecieron 😍, continué mi tratamiento y ahora no tengo ningún síntoma !! Estoy demasiado feliz! Por ahora seguiré tratamiento de mantenimiento continuando con mi dieta sin azúcar ni carbohidratos, probióticos orales, un óvulo de ácido bórico semanal y una ronda de probióticos vaginales una vez al mes. Me puse una cápsula y como al otro día no vi q me saliera nada d mi vagina … creí q no se deshizo o se salió mientras orinaba Me puse otro.. luego leí los comentarios sobre hemorragias y ardor y me dio miedo Fui rápido con una dra a q me los retirara xq yo misma no me alcanzaba y ya se había deshecho pero quedó una masa atrapada en la vagina q me sacaron si me ayudó a quitar mi candidiasis resistente a fluconazol y no me irritó. En mi caso con una cápsula basta para quitar la candidiasis, aprovecho a decirles q se chequen en laboratorio si no tienen “mycoplasma hominis” o “urea plasma” son infecciones vaginales silenciosas de transmisión sexual q provocan constantemente candidiasis y lo malo esq no solo se transmite x sexo sin condon si no por sexo oral, si el tipo le hace sexo oral a otra chica contagiada y tambn contigo te puede contagiar. Sean cautelosas. También si te toca el ano y luego te toca por adelante. Los hombres son muy cochinos e inconscientes.. acuestense con un hombre q realmente valga la pena para q no estén sufriendo d estas cosas Me lo puse en la piel y es una especie de “cal” q se queda una mancha seca talcosa blanca x eso muchas chicas dicen q les reseca o puede producir sangrado xq es irritante
