Satisfied But Battery Backup is Very Bad

The watch looks elegant however when it comes to performance the watch isn't that effective to the price. The watch lags very often & the battery is questionable. On a full charge, with settings like AOD, gestures, Bluetooth & Wi-Fi on, & with no usage, the battery doesn't lasts 12 hours. That's totally unworthy at the price segment. I haven't tested it yet for 3ATM water resistance but the watch functions well in rains. The calling feature is also good however, at times, I get notified only when the call has almost died. Another thing that bothers me, that after turning on the extended mode all the settings are changed to save battery but when the phone re-enters normal mode (daily mode), you need to change each & every settings again like gesture controls, connections. This is the most annoying thing for a watch priced at ₹24000. I would surely not recommend people Gen 6 for the performance. 'v'

Amazing watch

A real nice cool gadget which is a collaboration of Fossil-Google. While interface is Google's OS, the hardware is Fossil's. After using it for entire day, below are the PRO and CONS. 1. Thumb UPs: (i) The Google OS interface is user friendly and easy to navigate/ switch between apps. (ii) The Fossil Gen 6 watch is like wearing a smartphone on wrist. Almost all smartphone features are available in the watch including Google maps, Voice Assistant etc. (iii) Voice Assistant feature is an added bonus. User gets both Google Assistant as well as Alexa. (iv) Fast charging. The magnetic charging is designed as such that user can charge hassle free. Thumb Downs: (i) Fossil smartphone app which needs to be installed to interact watch with phone is sluggish. (ii) Alexa Assistant is a huge let down. User needs to pair with smartphone after every use. Better to go with Google Assistant. (iii) On using full features, the battery doesnt last full day. User may need to charge twice a day with full features.

As good as the watch looks, and works, the battery life is really sad. The charge does not even last for a full day. I tried going online to check if fossil has a buy back option for the Gen 6, but that is not offered either. This tells me that Fossil is not as customer obsessed as they need to be. Definitely not worth the price even at a 50 percent discount. If you need a functioning watch for the whole day that tracks your fitness, you should not consider buying this watch. If you need something ornamental that looks good on you...and don't care much for the fitness tracking or the battery life, then, maybe yes. I tried selling the product online but many sites like cashify don't even buy back this product for the same reasons. Please don't buy this product.

The watch strap lock loop is of cheap quality.
