Vaultskin MANHATTAN Slim Leather Bifold RFID Wallet for Men

Nice minimal wallet without sacrificing the necessary basics. Compared this with 4 other slim/minimal wallets from Amazon, and this seemed to not only be the slimmest in terms of thickness, but also height / width. I like that the cards are stored in horizontal slots so they won't fly out (which also helps make the wallet thinner than wallets with traditional vertical card storage), and the external pocket is great for keeping a frequently used ID or credit card handy. The leather feels decent and also smells good, and overall the wallet seems well-made and durable. The slightly rounded corners finish it off with a modern look that also hopefully helps reduce wear over time. Really happy with this wallet as long as it holds up - it seems much more sturdy than my previous wallet I'm replacing that was from a department store. UPDATE: Wallet is still awesome. Buy this wallet. I've had it for almost a year, and still looks like new. Wish I could add a 6th star. I've got multiple cards in a couple of pockets, and it has handled them well without stretching out too much or causing damage. Had held up really well and leather is still very nice with regular use every day.

(Paragraph 2 is where the review really starts) I was looking for a minimalist wallet and this is perfect for me! At first, I was hesitant because I wanted at least one more pocket (considering that people in the reviews say it's difficult to hold more than one card in each slot; read what I have to say about that later, though) but I decided that if I wanted to go minimalist, I needed to cut back more and so I just bought it. It took me some time to figure out how to cut back but once I did, my pockets were so much slimmer and cleaner! There are literally no cons to this product, hence the 5 stars! But I have detailed each thing that makes this product worth the review. - Many people say that you can't really hold more than one card in each slot, but this is only partially true. After about a month of using the wallet, the pockets loosened up just a tad; nothing to worry about. This allowed me to store two cards (driver's license, which is relatively thin, and a student ID card) in the front pocket. I only have one card in each of the rest of the slots, but if you desperately wanted to put two in EVERY slot, then it's possible but it would not be comfortable and it would just defeat the purpose of having a minimalist wallet. - The quality is top notch (worth the price). It's top grain leather which is the highest quality type of leather. It's certainly durable and reliable. - The design is simple but incredible elegant! This wallet changed the way I carry things with me, and it has forced me to slim down but the rewards are worth it! You may want to read some articles on how to slim down your wallet if this is something you struggle with. There are many apps out there that you can store your information on securely and privately. Overall, this is a fantastic product and the results of going minimalist are well worth it!

The blue is brighter and more beautiful in person than in the pictures they put, thankfully! Not super bright, but just bright enough where it looks polished and fashionable. For function and size, it's perfect. Holds all the bills I need, doesn't become overly big with cards/bills, holds everything in tight, BUT the front pocket is vulnerable to stretching without returning to size. That means you should never put more than 1 or 2 cards in there at most, because if you put more then the material stretches and if you have less than 4 cards, then everything will just fall out; example: my work ID fell out of the front pocket without me realizing. It has made me more wary of putting anything in the front pocket. I am no expert on material, so I can't say if it's real leather or what grade, but it looks and feels nice at least, and doesn't seem to be breaking apart after a month of use. Fits great in both front and back pockets without creating discomfort. I've never thought of returning this. It just works well, feels good, and looks good. My only gripe is the unreliable front pocket, and for that I wish the price was lowered to $35 at most instead.

Amazon says I bought this wallet in 2017 so I thought I would upload a photo to show just how well it's held up under 3+ years of daily use. Basically it's like new aside from the creases that come from things being in it. There isn't a frayed corner or separated stich on the whole thing. Now I'm not one to carry more than one card per card slot but I can tell you that with just one card in each slot, they haven't stretched at all. For curiosity sake, I just removed everything from the wallet and then put just one card back in and shook it while it's open. It stayed in place. I'm never concerned that one will slide out on me without my knowledge. There isn't much else to say about it. I like the side load card slots. I feel they provide a more secure fit for the cards and it's not hard to get them out. The top load slots are easier to slide cards out of but that also means that they slide out on their own easier too. I also like the outside slot which is where I keep my ID for quick removal to show when needed which I feel is better than the 'window' slots. Not only do most places require you to remove the card for inspection, but I've never liked handing my whole wallet over just to show my ID and those windows always scuff up and yellow over time. This is a high quality wallet at a 'mid-tier' price. I would definitely recommend it.

I had been looking for a slim wallet for awhile and spotted this one. After my current wallet ripped I decided I'd try Vaultskin out. I was concerned about some reviews that claimed it wouldn't hold many cards but figured I would just stick any extra cards I couldn't fit in my dresser. The wallet showed up and the first thing I noticed is the wonderful leather smell and texture. I Looked the wallet over and the stitching and finish were first rate. So I sat down and emptied my old wallet and started the process of sliding in cards and bills. Imagine my surprise when I managed to comfortably fit a total of 10 cards and 5 misc paper membership cards in the wallet along with assorted bills and the wallet lies flat and is still more compact than what I had before. Yes, the cards are a little stiff to get out but it's manageable and no doubt will loosen up over time. This wallet is literally half the thickness of my previous wallet and comfortable to sit on. Really glad I bought this.

I’ve been using this wallet for any least a couple of months now and it’s just what I was hoping for. It’s a small wallet I can easily keep in my front pocket. It fits just enough cards … I’ve got at least 8 cards distributed among the pockets. It expands to fit them snugly. Give it a week or two for the material to loosen up. The only down side I can think of is that it still takes me a couple of seconds to get out the cards I store in the inside pockets. Also note that the outside pocket does not block card readers. That’s where I store my most used credit card so I don’t even have to take it out to use the proximity scanners. You also have to make sure the bills are aligned when you put them in (if you do t want it to look sloppy). But that’s not a shortcoming of the wallet. That’s just because it’s a small wallet and it comes with the territory. Fingers crossed. I like the wallet and hope it will last a few years. Cheers!

I received this wallet yesterday, the delivery time was as expected. After deciding to give in to paranoia, I ordered a RFID blocking wallet from a different maker a year or so ago. While a bifold, that wallet was huge, so big that a few pairs of my shorts had back pockets that were too small to accept that wallet, so big that I was worried about breaking a bone if I ever fell off of it! Ha! The only good thing I have to say about it is that it was so large that it was impossible to slip through the wash, and my wife never washed it. Finally, I decided to see if I could find the best of both worlds, RFID protection, and something that I could actually keep in my pocket during car rides of over an hour. The Manhattan looked like it was the right thing, but buying without touching it first was a concern. I decided it was worth the risk to get rid of walletzilla. So far, it is nearly perfect. Small and spacious, I have all the cards I need - 3 bank cards, and gym membership card, health ins card, and a couple of other plastic cards. I don't carry money in it, other than the folded Benjamin emergency $$ stashed deep inside, so the money sleeve gives ample room to stash a few receipts as I collect them throughout the week. My only wish is that the inside had a pocket/sleeve with a clear window for ID. As it is, I put the ID in the outside pocket and will need to pull it out when needed. The leather, fit and finish seems good so far. I'm sure things will stretch out over time, all wallets do. When that finally happens, I'll buy another of these. Heck, I might buy another soon just to have it in the drawer when needed.

Got this to replace slimfold tyvek style of wallet. It material is thicker but not by much. It fits Australian bills, 10 cards with snug fit.
