They're smaller than I expected, but they were a great stocking stuffer!
I gave these to a high school junior who is all about the sciences. He's a serious kid and loved these–they were a great stocking stuffer. They are a bit smaller than I would have guessed (about 3" tall) and they didn't come in a box, but a plastic bag (see pic) which lacked a bit in the presentation department. But they are great and educational. In fact, I learned on Xmas morning – ulcers are caused by bacteria and that the scientist who discovered this fact gave himself an ulcer to prove his point. Who knew?

Really disappointing.
Wow these are low quality. I guess these are the miniature versions of the "Giant Microbes", only about 3 inches long compared to the much larger and higher quality version which are closer to 6 inches. Since the item descriptions are vague it's impossible to know what you're ordering. What's more, I did order a different set of these and they were the size and quality I was expecting AND the same price! (for 4x Microbes). Except I didn't get 4, I only received 3. One was missing from the package...but don't worry, someones' pink Samsung S10 phone case ended up in my package somehow. So I guess I got that going for me... Just utterly confusing overall.

Fun gift idea
These are small but hilarious to use as gifts. I attached the E. Coli to the lettuce on a plush taco and mailed it to a friend for Christmas. I have another friend food poisoning while we went out for lunch. I made sure each one was gifted to somebody special. Everybody loved them and laughed pretty hard.

These are so cute, and perfect for lab week. Each little microbe has a full hang tag with info about the bug. 5 in this pack for great price, what's not to like? They're so adorable!

Small, but still packs the Giant Microbes punch
I bought these for a food safety gift basket. They are smaller than the originals, but they still appear made to the same quality and have the informative tag attached. They were perfect for my needs! Pictures are this set next to my Toxoplasmosis original for size comparison.
