Is each tablet packaged in foil?

The tablets are in a ten count foil blister pack. Each pill has it's own sealed compartment. I am an RN and this is like medical grade packaging. Safe.

Could this cause you to feel warm or hot and sometimes dizziness?

SAM-e, especially when combined with other medications, has a potential to contribute to Seratonin Syndrome, which can cause temperature disregulation and dizziness. This is a supplement that effects the function of your brain and neural pathways. Please make sure you use it as directed and preferrably under the care of someone who is knowledgeable on the subject if you have not done your own research. If any adverse reactions occur, stop taking the supplement and please talk to your doctor about it. There is the potential for very bad reactions if Seratonin builds up too much.

Every person's brain is unique and will react in different ways. Nothing involved in brain support supplements are a one-size-fits-all.

how long does it take to start working

I have taken SAM-e for 15 years very successfully. It has never failed to work for me, unlike Rx antidepressants and other supplements (like St John's Wort). In the last year I have increased from 1 400 mg pill daily to 2. I'm in my 60s and i just seem to feel better with more. (It is also anti-aging because it helps correct the mistakes that accumulate in our DNA). In my experience SAM-e works very quickly. If I need a boost, I take an extra dose and I feel better within 1-2 hours. You can take up to 1600 mg in a day (four 400 mg pills) with no problem. If I know I'm going to have a stressful day I will head off problems by taking 2 upon awakening, and then 1-2 more later in the day, when I can be sure of an empty stomach. It's important to take SAM-e at least 30 minutes before food, or 2 hours after, for best absorption.

How do these compare to nature made? That's my usual.

For me, I like Nature Made so much better. Nature Made worked for my husband and I. We switched to these in an effort to save money and within two weeks of the switch we both started hurting again. Also these came with several of the bubbles punctured and the pills were different colors, within the pack. If you read some of the recent reviews, you’ll see others had some of the same issues and far as punctured blister packs and color changes within the box. We switched back to Nature Made, which was the brand our Orthapedic doctor had recommended.
