Where can I get a replacement cord for model 07023, I lost mine in a move and its brand new! I really don't want to buy another.

Go to Ebay.com...put in "PRESTO 0690005 Electric Skillet Griddle Heat Control Power Cable Cord". Less that $12 with shipping. Or go to Amazon and input the same. $13 with prime shipping.

Can the teflon piece be removed from the base for cleaning?

I couldn't remove mine. I just wiped it off really good after each use while it was still hot. And used the corner of my rag to get around the edges really good.

Does this have a grease trap?

Best Griddle ever

I have bought several griddles and have tossed all of them except this one. The others were well known brand names but they did not heat well enough to use. Yes this has a hot spot which is at the top of the griddle, but it heats well. This is the first griddle i have been able to make pancakes. I highly recommend it.
