I can turn up the brightness and use it for extended periods of time without eye fatigue during streaming sessions. I love the soft light for tabletop product photography/videography. We use often photo tabletop items we sell on Etsy. It works great as I can quickly adjust the height, light temperature, and brightness. This has improved the look of our product photos and is so quick and convenient to use. I love I can set up the unit anywhere and it just works! The controller allows you to set channels and groups so if you have a few of these panels you can adjust them all at the same time, or individually control each one for the perfect lighting look. The lights control pad is held in place via magnets. Works perfectly on the light unit or remove for remote control functionality. The remote can be charged while installed on the light, or can be charged via a USBC connection (you provide cord/power) on the side of the remote (see photos). The ios/android app allows for control of the light panel via Bluetooth. Very handy and can be used along with the Godox remote as well. The Base is incredibly sturdy! I was able to quickly clamp the light on the tabletop (or desktop), set the height, and adjust the ball head for the perfect angle/lighting. The arm extends to over 40” tall for the perfect height and angle. Conclusion: I love this light. It seems very well built, soft light, runs cool (no fans, no noise), is easy to set up, great remote, and the price is right! It was perfect for what I needed. Might have to add one or two more units so I can creatively light from multipule angles.

This was my first purchase outside of camera specific equipment from Godox and decided on this due to pricing and product features vs Elgato's offerings. The detachable control panel alone allows for freedom outside of being forced to control your light through an app. The control panel solidly connects via magnets to the back of the light to charge, or offers a USB-C port to charge it off the light. They've thought of everything with this, and how to make your light control experience the best it can be. This light offers full brightness controls, allows for grouping with other lights in the Godox system and smooth color temperature control via the detachable control panel as well as through the Godox app if you so choose. Stand that it comes with is sturdy, and adjustable up to a height that is more than needed for desktop use. I couldn't be happier with this product, it's features, offerings and price point overall. One thing that you may need if you're looking to further shape the light that comes from this panel, is a grid or softbox. This light has a few aftermarket offerings but just be aware that modifier offerings are a bit slim. If you're on the fence about this one vs other products on the market dont be, it's solid and you'll enjoy the tactile offering of the remote control panel vs being forced into an app.

I've been very pleased with my Godox ES45 lights. I purchased two and mounted one on each side of my desk. Setup was straightforward, including installing the app and connecting the lights via Bluetooth. The lights also include wireless remotes that pair directly with each fixture. While the remotes work well, I primarily use the Godox app because it allows me to control each light individually or both lights simultaneously. The included C-clamp mounting system is simple, sturdy, and easy to install. Overall, the light output is excellent, and the brightness and color temperature controls provide plenty of flexibility for my workspace. My only significant criticism is the documentation. The instructions for pairing and configuring the included remotes are extremely limited, and the remote settings cannot be managed through the Godox Light app. As a result, I had to rely on trial and error to configure the remotes the way I wanted. Overall, the hardware and lighting performance are excellent. With clearer documentation for the remotes, this would easily be a five-star product.

I use this light daily at my desk now. When it's facing you it's not terribly hard on the eyes despite being very bright at its max setting. The Bluetooth remote is actually amazing and so convenient. The magnetic charging/attachment to the light feels great. I actually face the light towards the wall and it creates a great ambient/indirect lighting for my home office. Godox makes great products and this is the highest recommended one I've used. Best use for lighting podcasts, zoom calls, streaming, even home video production. Have not tried it with a battery pack for remote shooting but technically could be mounted on any tripod or lighting rig.

What a great key light for video streaming but honestly it’s strong enough that I want to test it out in some of my indie projects. The power and range of temperature is awesome for my needs. 2800k - 6500k The controller having ability to be removed from unit and controlled at a distance makes this so versatile. The table mount is nice and solid but I’m excited to try on a camera stand. For the price this is really nice! Godox delivers again for me.

I love this light. It has become my goto light for my setup. The app doesn't always communicate with it but the remote that easily removes from the back of the light to talk over Bluetooth to allow me to control it works great. I am able to adjust brightness and color of the light so easily. This is a great design. It was super easy to setup and use. I use this for all of my livestreams and tutorial videos for my YouTube channel and for my college classes I teach. You will really appreciate the quality and ease of use.

I was very happy with this light I’m using for my recordings. I used it 8 times since I purchased it. The light is great, easy to install and use, but unfortunately, the stand that comes with it is not that good. It broke off and the whole thing fell down on the floor. The rubber things attached to the clamp came off and after it fell the clamp broke off and not able to repair it. Tried to figure out how to contact customer service for the manufacturer, but was not successful.

What can I say is that YES !! You do need proper lighting for a good quality stream. This is the kit to have for that reason. Let start of with the build. This LED light kit is sturdy from mounting pole to the LED light unit. When you remove from the box and hold this device you won't feel questionable about your purchases for long-term use. Assembly was a breeze to install. Only (4) part to place together. Then once you attach the mounting pole clamp to your surface and place the LED light to it you will feel the weight on the pole is equally disturbing it won't feel top heavy. Then power up the unit and I was surprised that there wasn't a issue with the LED heat ?? The screen and lights housing does a great for that issue. I just did a 11:45 minutes stream having the light on I didn't feel stress from the light. Even having my remote control at 86% that using a green screen backing. The functionality with the remote control is "PRICELESS" to have to your side and change on the fly. I really like that option. Even the app is a winner you can setup different scenes if you have multiple lighting you can assign them to different channel. I'm pleased with my purchase.

Space saver with massive light output, comes with pretty premium remote for easy adjustment

Je recherchais une lampe de bureau pour éclairer mon visage et supprimer mes zones d'ombre lors des séances de streaming et des visioconférences. J'ai passé des heures sur Amazon à comparer les centaines de modèles disponibles. J'ai jeté mon dévolu sur cette lampe Godox ES45 car elle présente plusieurs atouts comparés au modèle Elgato Key Light (qui s'avère le meilleur produit de la catégorie). Je n'ai pas été déçu lors de la réception de mon produit. Le packaging est plus que correct. Les éléments sont bien emballés séparément. Dans la boîte, il y a la notice (en anglais ou mandarin), la lampe avec son alimentation et la prise adaptée pour la France ainsi que la monture pour une fixation sur le bureau. La lampe est de 56W et contient 176 leds. Les températures des couleurs vont de 2800K à 6500 K. L'intensité lumineuse peut être réglée de 0% à 100% (dans mon cas je ne l'utilise qu'à 20-30%). Il y a un diffuseur intégré qui permet de bien diffuser la lumière. La lampe ne scintille pas et n'éblouie pas même à pleine puissance. Donc aucun problème pour ceux qui ont les yeux sensibles. La lampe est suffisamment grande (largeur de 365 mm, hauteur 230 mm). La lampe est constituée de bons matériaux (bonne qualité des plastiques et fond en aluminium). Le pied est très robuste et les éléments qui le consitue également (la rotule et les différents dispositifs de serrage). J'ai mesuré les différents diamètres des tubes qui sont de 25 mm pour le plus gros et d'environ 19 mm pour le plus petit. La monture dépliée fait environ 1055 mm et repliée environ 445 mm. Cette lampe a une particularité intéressante que n'a pas la lampe Legato Key light qui est un contrôleur distant qui peut être soit attaché soit détaché de l'arrière de la lampe sur le support magnétique. La lampe peut donc être utilisé pour d'autres applications comme par exemple en séance photos ce que ne propose pas la lampe concurrente car elle est gérée soit par une application soit par connexion wifi (et dépend donc du PC). Aussi, le support peut être démonté et un trépied peut être fixé à la lampe pour une utilisation en key light par exemple. Enfin, il existe également une application disponible sur Apple Store ou sur Google Play pour gérer la lampe, ou la création de scènes (plusieurs lampes de la même marque). L'application est intuitive et il existe une aide très détaillée en image. Les gros plus sont le contrôleur qui peut être détaché et chargé via un port USB-c indépendamment, la qualité du produit et le prix qui est un peu inférieur à celui du concurrent. A voir dans la durée mais je recommande ce produit.

Mittlerweile arbeite ich immer mehr im Homeoffice, zudem starte ich abends ab und an auch mal die eine oder andere Streaming Session, entsprechend brauche ich gute Beleuchtung am Schreibtisch. Das Godox ES45 Key Light hat eine wirklich starke Lichtleistung, auch die Farbtemperatur lässt sich von kaltweiß bis warmweiß stufenlos regeln. Der im Lieferumgang enthaltende Schreibtischhalterung ist aus Metall und wirklich massiv sowie gut verarbeitet. Dank des oben angebrachten Kugelkopfes lässt sich die Lampe in alle Richtungen verstellen. Die Montage war super einfach, innerhalb von Minuten war die Lampe befestigt. Das Netzkabel ist auch ausreichend lang, selbst wenn die Lampe sehr weit oben sitzt ist noch genügend Kabel unter dem Schreibtisch vorhanden. Mit kaufentscheidend war neben der hohen Lichtleistung und der flexiblen Einstellung von Farbtemperatur und Helligkeit vor allem auch die Fernbedienung. Viele Lampen lassen sich zwar auch per Handy-App steuern, aber das ist mir zu umständlich, vor allem weil sich das Handy auch ständig wieder sperrt. (eine Handy-App ist aber auch verfügbar). Die Fernbedienung für das Godox ES45 Key Light ist magnetisch hinten an der Lampe befestigt und wird durch diese mitgeladen, zudem gibt es eine zusätzliche USB-C Ladebuchse. Gut gefallen hat mir, dass es direkt zwei Regler für Helligkeit und Farbtemperatur gibt und man nicht ständig die Belegung umschalten muss. Die Fernbedienung hat zudem ein Display, das die aktuell eingestellten Werte anzeigt. Die Lichtleistung ist wirklich mehr als ordentlich und ich bin mit dem Setup insgesamt wirklich sehr zufrieden.

Estoy absolutamente sorprendido con este foco por diversas razones. Las posibilidades que ofrece a nivel de configuración para adaptarse a cualquier necesidad es simplemente increíble. Puede utilizarse para disponer de la iluminación necesaria a la hora de hacer streaming profesional, así como herramienta para fotografía e incluso iluminación de cualquier estancia. Dispone de un configurador amplísimo de temperatura de luz pudiendo manejarse entre rangos de luz cálida, neutra o fría. Del mismo modo, también podemos aumentar o disminuir la potencia de luz que necesitamos en cada momento y una vez más contamos con un rango enorme para satisfacer nuestras necesidades. Por último, el precio es realmente justo para todas las opciones que ofrece. No es un producto barato, pero su calidad de funcionamiento y acabado premium, lo justifica. En definitiva, ses cual sea el uso que quieras darle, está es una opción que yo recomiendo sin ninguna duda
