I have thick hair and other clips slide right off my head. These are perfect! They grab and keep in place my untwist and the colors are great! Highly recommend!

Definitely thin, breakable plastic. If you have thick, long hair this might not be strong enough for you. I had to twist my bun quite tight and small for this clip to fit, and it’s holding on for dear life. It is also a bit smaller than expected, I included a photo of a clip I usually use for reference. Overall, it will do for the time being, but I don’t expect them to last too long without the teeth breaking off of the clip. Good for the price.

These claw clips are exactly what I was looking for! I love the black with white spots the most. The two smaller ones are the size I thought they would be but I expected the black clip to be a bit bigger but it still holds all my hair perfectly. I have thin but very long hair and these clips are easy to open but still sturdy enough my hair doesn’t fall out right away. These clips are perfect for you if you’re hair is thinner and looking to have a quick easy hairdo. I wouldn’t recommend to someone with thick long hair as I don’t think they will hold very well.

I have very thick shorter hair. The tortoiseshell clip appears to be of a thinner plastic than the white clip, because the tortoiseshell clip cracked the first time I used it within 5 minutes. The white one seems to be fine and held up all day. I'm disappointed because the white clip worked really well but I did not get the same performance from the tortoiseshell clip.

Just what I needed for a comfortable all day hold with my long wavy/curly hair! My favorite feature is that the prongs or teeth, lay flat against my head. Once I’ve clipped it up, I pull it away from my head just enough to secure it even tighter the clip lays flat and holds all day!!

Classic claw clips. They work, but only for smaller sections of hair (unless you barely have any). There's no rubbery grip inside to help the hair stay put. Spring tension is good at first use, but loosens a little over time. The "teeth" points can feel sharp and stabby against the scalp. They can also eventually break off.These are cheap, under $3 so you get what you pay for. Even with some faults, they're much better quality than the $1.25 Tree stores.
