It gives new life and longevity to an old stick vac that I just can't bear to part with.

I always have concerns about 3rd party batteries, and since this one has only been in use for a month, I can't say how long it will last. But at half the manufacturer's price for a battery, I'll risk it. Pops in and out no problem. Value will depend on how long it lasts, so the 4-star rating is a guess.

I was a little hesitant to purchase a lower-priced, non-Hoover replacement battery for my old Linx BH50020PC because the reviews for cheaper batteries were all over the place. However, this battery seemed to have mostly positive reviews so I took a chance. I've had the battery for several months, and happily, it charges reliably and has brought my old Linx back to full capacity (maybe even better). The "signal" for when the battery is charged is a little different--the charger displays rapid flashes instead of the long, gradual flashes displayed with the original battery--but it fits the charger and vacuum fine, and the charge lasts for quite a while.

So far it works good, no problem with it fitting in unit. but I have only had it a couple of months

I thought I lost hope on my vacuum. This was an easy and more economical way than buying a new vacuum. Works great!

Unfortunately, this battery would not charge properly. It seems well made. It looks and feels substantial just like the original. However, the very first time I charged it, the charger got very hot about 15 minutes into charging and then indicated a fault. I tried to charge the battery in a second charger (I have two of the vacuums and two chargers) and had the same problem.

Highly Recommend this battery! Works really well and my Linx vacuum has not been this strong since I got it. Charged fast, and lasted a long time on single charge so far.

We almost through out our Hoover Linx, but my wife found this replacement battery and it's like a new, better vacuum now.
