DECEMBER 2018I coiled this faux vine and put it in my crestie's terrarium, tucking his plants around it. He frequently perches on it to relax or climbs all over it during his nightly adventures. He's a very "talkative" little fellow and has plenty to "say" about his enclosure--this got lots of happy squeaks.Four stars instead of five since it cracked in two places but the material isn't abrasive enough to be dangerous.Photo for scale. I've learned to read his body language and skintone, so I can tell you he was in a good mood but mildly confused about having his picture taken before I picked him up.MAY 2019 UPDATE: I just had to take it away from my gecko because it started growing weird yellow mold. Leaving the rating the same because my little guy got well over a year's worth of climbing enjoyment out of an inexpensive fake vine.

For something with the name 'bend-a-branch' it really can't be bent far without splitting. The moment I took it out of its packaging and bent it into shape to put in my viv, the fake vine split open in several places. Very cheap.

This vine was purchased for two of my snakes. Both of them are arboreal so they live off the ground in trees. These vines have a great natural look and feel to them. It was a single six foot strand of vine that was coiled up in the package. It is harder foam like material with a metal rod like a hanger through it. I was able to use some heavy duty scissors to cut the vine into the desired sizes I wanted to put them into my tanks.The metal piece in the middle makes it moldable and hold its shape very well. I was able to curve the ends of the vines around the logs I have in the tanks to give them a natural look and they can move across the vines or lay on them. This was a great price for a six foot piece of vine and I would really recommend it to those of you that are wanting that natural look. I use live plants in all of my tanks and these look like they belong in there with the plants. Great product.

I purchased this to replace my bamboo in my small crested geckos terrarium. It arrived late, but packaged well. It looks good! But will see how it holds up. As other have commented, it doesn't bend very far. It cracked in quite a few places and bummed me out. Warming it up a bit seemed to help elasticity though. Appearance and use are huge to me when decorating my reptiles' terrariums. So far appearance isn't great due to the cracking, but it holds up well to my crestie climbing on it. Once he gets bigger I'll probably have to purchase another to wrap together so they hold his weight. Don't regret the purchase at all though! Just a little bummed.

My small crested gecko LOVES this thing! I got it yesterday, bent it around a bit and put it into the terrarium. As soon as my gecko woke up last night, it was ON this thing and I continued to see it checking out various crooks and turns. Of course, only time will tell as to durability, but it seems well made...even if it only lasts a short while, I have already gotten my money's worth just watching my crestie enjoy it.

I ordered the 6’ in the 3/8 size and it was perfect. I was able to zigzag it well in the terrarium and 2 seemed to be enough to do this full sized chameleon terrarium although you could fit more so I might buy a couple more to give her more climbing areas. It does not come with anything to attach it to the screen walls with. I pinched the end of each and used little bread ties cut up twisted into a loop to put on each bend and wherever else i wanted it attached. Then i used wire slipped into the loop and then through the screen to attach it where i wanted. Its lightweight, easy to bend, and has good texture. Its also the perfect size for my full grown veiled chameleons cute little feets.

I don't know why the review asks about suction power...there are no sunction cups. It's a vine that is pretty sturdy on its own. I had to put a rock In one spot to keep it in place. Besides that, you bend it to however you desire. This is also pretty big. I have a 20gal lateral tank for my baby crested gecko. (Temporary until next month). It literally wraps in a huge square/circle high and low around the whole terrarium. It's my baby cresties favorite thing right now. He loves sitting on the ends while they suspend in mid air. He also loves scurrying super fast from one end to the other. I have had this for about a month now and it is constantly wet. I have no complaints except if you are using paper towels for substrate, after being misted and dried a few times it does stick to the paper towels. Besides that, baby crestie approves.

Did NOT come with suction cups!!! Might not have had to toss it if I'd had them, explain below. Maybe you'll get lucky and receive the suction cupsDidn't matter, had to toss from hermit crabs cage after 1 crab died about 2 inches from a section. It had absorbed the smell. Wouldn't recommend for hermit crabs due to smell absorption BUT...on the flip side had it come with the suction cups it wouldn't have been sitting in the substrate to absorb the smells.

Pieces coming off very easily and I`m not using it because I`m afraid my Bearded Dragon will eat and choke and those pieces. Not sure what happened but I hope my bearded dragon did not eat the top layer of the Bend the branch decoration.

This vine by Fluker‘s is great. Adds to the terrarium and my geckos climb all over it. Easy to clean as well, I’ve cleaned it with hot water a few times now with no concerns. Great purchase.

Bought several of these for furcifer bifidus chameleons' terrariums. They are perfect! Medium is about the width of my finger. Small is about the width of a pencil.

This product is okay, however, in hindsight, I would have just spent more on the Exo Terra version instead of getting this one. It looks nothing like the photo by the way. Not mossy at all!
