Nicer than others I have tried. Heavy duty.
I've had this for almost 90 days. This is the second walking pad I have tried. The first was a cheaper/smaller one of another brand, and I realized right away that I LOVE having a walking pad while working, and will use it every day. So, I decided to upgrade to nicer model with a more powerful motor and a wider belt. The KS Fit app has worked fine for me on my iPhone, and it will sync steps to your apple fitness if you adjust your settings to make KS Fit the priority. I'm not sure it would be worth doing though, because you would only get the steps counted from the app. So, I wear my apple watch on my ankle while I'm walking on it so I get accurate steps while working (and not swinging my arms). The belt is a good size. Wide enough and long enough that I don't run into the sides while working at my computer. The motor seems powerful, and it is fairly quiet. The biggest noise is the sound of your steps. The app works well for me. I haven't had any issues with power surges, or overloading the breaker. The readout on the machine is nice and large, and you can actually change from manual to auto by touching the readout, which is also a negative if you have a dog, or accidentally touch it with your toe while sitting on an exercise ball and activate the machine during a Teams meeting. ;) The auto feature worked fine the one time I tried it, but it takes some getting used to. I use it in manual 99% of time.I chatted with customer service about 2 stuck leveling buttons and they were very helpful and accommodating, even offering to send me a replacement machine at no extra charge. This seems like a good company that will honor the warranty.

compact and portable
The WalkingPad R2 is a solid choice for those seeking a compact and portable walking machine. Its sturdy build and easy-to-fold design make it perfect for storage in tight spaces. The small wheels are ideal for hard floors, but may struggle on carpets. A built-in water bottle holder would be a convenient addition for longer walks. Pairing the remote initially proved challenging, but the excellent customer service quickly resolved the issue. Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase and look forward to using the WalkingPad R2 during colder months. It's a reliable and convenient option for indoor walking.

I've had this for a while and it's held up.
This is an update on my original review. One of the wheels to move the treadmill around cracked and it is difficult to roll, they are made of plastic. The app has improved and works better than my initial review. Originally gave it a 3/5.The actual treadmill works fine. I fold it up when not in use. It takes about 5 minutes to do. It is heavy and hard to move around but it works for what I need. The app is terrible. You have to be logged in to use it and you cannot use fingerprint login. It does not connect with the treadmill to save your workouts unless you manually open the app. There is also an ad that plays everytime you open the app. For the price of the equipment, Idon't want an ad.

very happy with purchase
I got this during a lightening sale for 200 dollars off list price about 2 month ago and so far have been very happy with purchase. I am using this about 30 minutes everyday at around 3.5-5 mph while wearing a weighted vest and find this to be an excellent work out. Max speed I have tried has been about 5.5 mph with no shaking of the pad. It was super easy to set up right out of the box no tools required. Every day I unfold it, exercise, fold it back up again and store it at corner of family room. I haven't had any problem with the belt slipping or needing to make any adjustments to it. Very fast to set up and take down. i use the remote to increase/decrease speed but have tried the app and that worked fine too but I prefer the remote. I have not tried the auto setting. I wanted a machine I could use to walk/light jog on but that would not take up too much space in my main living area and think this machine is perfect for my needs.

It seemed like a good idea...
I read the outstanding reviews told by 25 year old youtubers, but they failed to mention one important point. It's hard. If you walk on it for more than one hour, you will get pain all over your body. My knee is hurting. My shins were hurting. I tried adding two treadmill pads. And I added two shoe insoles to my walking shoes which are new and only used for the walking pad. While it did help, it didn't stop the joint pain. The surface of the walking pad is harder than walking on a cement sidewalk. If it doesn't hurt you now, it will be the cause of your pain in the future. I ordered this product on amazon. I wanted to use this product because it is compact and easy to store away. But because I kept ordering new accessories to try and improve my experience, I went past the return date.

Worth it if your priority is saving space
It is extremely convenient to have a treadmill that folds up and is easy to move. I live in a small space and it works really well for that! I am pretty disappointed in the quality given how much this thing costs. The track does not stay in place and needs to be realigned constantly. The handle gets stuck and is difficult to pull out and put back and the clamps that are supposed to hold it in place barely work. On top of that the app it comes with is super glitchy. If you need something that takes up basically no space and has a running mode I would still recommend this treadmill. I hope they come out with a newer model that's a bit better quality!

Great for walking
I like this walking pad. It's great for walking if you want something for running I'd choose something else because the speed will not reach above 3.5 miles per hr.
