Visit Hawaii without having to actually go
Son got back from Hawaii and said this is something specific to Hawaii and yummy. I donโt plan on going to Hawaii but like to try the things places are known for and me not actually have to go lol. So bought this. Itโs cool but I think oranges are good on their own.

Sweet, salty and sour. Yum.
Use it on the rim of a margherita glass instead of plain salt or pour a little into any drink to enhance the flavor. Mmmm...

Li Hing Mui powder
The flavoring is too sweet for our taste. Prefer more sour and salty flavor. Sugar could be added later by user if you like it sweet. The packaging quality was very good.

Not even close to original Li Hing Mui-too much aspartame
This not what I remember Li Hing Mui supposed to taste like. Iโve been living in Michigan for 15 years now, Born in Kaneohe and raised Waimanalo, Hawai'i and since times are rough my ohana canโt send care packages like before. I figured Iโd order some on Amazon โ name sounded like a Hawaiian owner, so I wanted to support. But man, this one way too sweet! Whereโs the sweet and salty mix? The dominant taste is straight-up aspartame. I even bought 10 lbs of watermelon gummies to make my lemon peel candy like back home โ my mom made me one container, and brah, was so ono! I was ready to make more, but after tasting this powder straight from the bagโฆ not too happy. The price just not worth it unfortunately

Yum! Best yet! ๐ค๐ฝ
Best li hing mui powder Iโve ever tasted. Although more expensive then the ones I usually get on the Island, I will happily pay the little more for the little less for these savory salty goodness!

Read ingredients
Itโs as advertised, but has artificial sweetener. Great if you donโt mind the aspartame taste.
