LightingThis has a bright and wide flood light, not a spot light. The light is great for construction, painting, carpentry, plumbing. Sometimes I don't realize how dark the areas I'm working on are until I shut it off. It has High, Low, Red and Red blinking that cycle through the same button. Sometimes the person I'm working near uses my same light because their headlight is washed out by this one. The button is placed in a way that it hasn't gotten accidentally turned on in my tool bag like most of my other headlights. The front tilts and clicks in place at different angles. The lamp is high enough and has a rubber edge so I don't get glare from the light on the top of my glasses.BatteriesThe rechargeable batteries it comes with are high quality. I think I can work 3-4 hours on the highest setting before it quits. The batteries charge slow (like overnight) if you leave them in the unit and just charge by plugging in the usb. I bought a backup pair of batteries and a charger which goes faster, but the backup batteries don't last as long as the original batteries that came in the lamp.ComfortIt's a little heavy compared to other headlight but that's a trade-off for having two 18650 batteries. It is balanced with the batteries being opposite the lamp. It could use a little more padding in the front because you have to tighten it to keep it from falling off when you have to look upside down and sideways a lot (like working on a car and some plumbing). I usually wear it over a backwards baseball cap.DurabilityThe clips are plastic but are holding up so far. Mine has fallen a few times from different height and I've banged it on things and so far it's fine.

I don’t write reviews often. This light however deserves a review. It’s a little on the bulky side, but it’s one of the best headlamps I’ve ever owned and used. Easy to use and exceptionally bright. Broad field of vision and a serviceable battery life. I’d buy this headlamp again in a minute.

Bought this headlamp on a whim when it was on sale.Wow! It is bright! Like, light up the deepest, darkest recesses of space with a super nova bright.So bright, in fact, that I started laughing as soon as I turned it on as I had no indication it was going to be so very crazy bright.Will I ever need a headlamp this bright? Does ANYONE need a headlamp this bright? I don't know.But if you're into insanely bright headlamps, I can't imagine you're going to be disappointed with this blindingly luminous beast. So just buy it.My rating: Five (exploding) stars!

It you need to light up a 30 foot area really brightly for hours at a time, this is a good choice. It's the floodiest flood light I own. All flood no throw.It's definitely not 2000 lumens, and you aren't going to have 10 hours of usable light, but it's really not a bad light. I have two of them. I turned one on and left it for 4 hours. When I came back it was still running, but only as bright as the "low" setting on the other one with fresh batteries.The red light works well, but is actually a bit too bright for trying to preserve night vision.We use it for cave exploration, in addition to a handheld light. The headlight dies a good job lighting up the area you are walking but not much more than that.Can't comment on durability yet as we have only used them twice.

While I was using this light on High Beam the light constantly flickers from bright to super dim, then bright again, and then dim again and it just keeps doing this non stop while I have the light charged up and using it as it's designed to be used.I used this only 4 times, when I plugged the light in to charge the 5th time the plug inside the light for the power or charge cord broke off inside the light! It's worthless now! Junk!I can't seem to find anyone to talk to about this either for warranty or something I hoped but no luck thier either! Grrrr im upset about this 😡☹️
