Perfect for draining low spots on my lawn
I bought this because I have a low spot on my lawn that puddles, especially in the spring. I installed a drain pipe and needed something for the top, and this was perfect. It's very sturdy and well constructed and the green dome on the top is perfect to filter out leaves.

Keeps the flowerbed from flooding
Installed in a flowerbed to help with drainage and it has worked wonderfully. I had to create a gravel catch basin in the yard to assist with releasing the water because of how low it takes you, which was lower than the slope of our yard. That area will eventually be covered by rock anyways, so no big deal. We have clay soil, so heavy thunderstorms would have floated the mulch out of the bed and the bed has not flooded through 2 big storms since it was installed. Installation was easy and 4” corrugated pipe fits great. The flower bed was my Mother’s Day gift this year, so I didn’t want any issues.
