St Moriz Self Tan Range Instant Self Tanning Mousse Dark 6.76oz (200ml)

I have used about 10 different self tanners in the last few years. I workout a lot, take care of myself and like to feel comfortable in tank tops and shorts. Having a nice glowing tan really helps with that. It's hard to find a good tanner though, so when I discovered this I was thrilled! Here are some thoughts: -Color: The most important aspect is the color it gives me. I felt going with "dark" was a little bold of me. I normally use medium tanners, but I find myself applying them daily or every other day to achieve the look I want. I figured that jumping up to this might be better. I would label this more of medium-dark. It doesn't look fake and obviously dark. It has a wonderful, natural, tan look to it. Much better than the mediums I was using. I only apply this every 3 days and find that I have the perfect look I want. -Application: I really debated between the foam and lotion. I went with the foam because I've never tried foam before and it was cheaper. I figured it was worth a try. To be honest, the first application and I wasn't a fan. I find that I have to work quicker with the foam since it dries VERY quickly. If I see a area with uneven coverage I need to take care of it immediately or else it dries within a about 30 seconds and it's harder to work in. With that being said, I love that I don't feel all lotioned up and sticky after applying this. For application, I shower and exfoliate VERY well. Then make sure I'm completely dry. Using a mitt I work on one half of each extremity at a time, like lower leg, then upper leg, ect. Small areas work best. Then a use a special mini face mitt to get my face well. -Color guide: The first time I put this on I hated the color guide. In case you're not familiar, the color guide is a dark pigment that helps show where you've applied and not applied. Without it, it's hard to determine if you missed spots. So the color guide in this is dark, much darker than the actual tan it gives me. My first application I did it before going out on date night with my husband. I was embarrassed about how dark and unnatural I looked. The color guide comes off after the first showering. I have now learned, I do this in the evening a couple hours before bed or when I know I'm going to be home all day. Lesson learned. Overall, I can't recommend this enough. I had bought tanners for triple the price that I don't like as much as this. Since wearing this I've got so many compliments on my beautiful tan. I have had many people ask if I've been tanning and then been shocked when I told them it was self tanner. They say it looks extremely natural. I am definitely a long term customer for this St Moriz tanner. Update: I've been using this for about 6 months. This is seriously the best self tanner I've ever used. I've ordered a total of 3-4 bottles of this and will continue ordering. I am so grateful that I found a product that works this well for this reasonable of a price. I love that if I'm going somewhere I want a tan for, I can apply the night before and don't have to worry about it not being enough. My husband hates that my side of the bed gets all dark from the lotion, but it does come off in the washing machine, so it's not a huge deal.

I read about 50 reviews of self-tanners, in all price ranges, before finally deciding to buy St. Moriz Dark Self-Tanning Mousse. My reasons for buying were the low price, no "yucky self-tan" smell, gorgeous dark color, and ease of application. All of those things met my requirements, but a word of advice if you purchase this product: Wear gloves and work FAST!!! Other reviewers used a tanner application mitt; I just used non-latex gloves and they worked great. (I did the tops of my hands and fingers last, after removing the gloves, and washed my palms immediately with soap.) Make sure you exfoliate and shave prior to use, and moisturize dry knees, elbows toes and cuticles. The mousse comes out very dark and goes on a chocolatey-greenish hue, but this is to counteract any orange tones and does really work. It does go on dryish and streaky, so blend well and work REALLY fast!!!! Make sure you have good lighting. I propped my leg up onto the bathroom vanity counter so I could reach my feet and backs of calves. If you have a problem reaching the middle if your back, ask someone to help you. This area was the hardest to apply in a smooth manner because it's sticky and streaky. This product dries immediately so you can get dressed right away. I wouldn't recommend white clothing until you wash off the "color guard" (the initial application) which is 4-6 hours after applying. When I got into the shower, I rinsed and did not scrub, but the color is pretty set. You will see quite a bit of color guard running down the drain. I'm very pleased with the natural-looking, dark tan, and the pleasant scent. There is a mild scent, but does not smell like self-tanner in any way. I gave this 5 stars. I would have given more if I could have! Hope this review helps!

I was hesitant to try this product because most self tanners make my arms and legs streaky. However I checked out some YouTube reviews for this product an it seemed worth the $10 to try it. I showered the day I was going to try it and exfoliated with a coconut oil, honey, and sugar scrub. I applied lotion after the shower and then later that evening I applied a moisturizer to my elbows, feet, knees, and hands. Basically all areas that tend to hold in the Tanner the most. I used a tanning mitt I bought on Amazon, nothing fancy. It looks a lot darker than it actually is because it has the color guard so you know where you've already applied it. It took me about 25 minutes to apply it all over. I let it sit for about an hour to try then I went to bed. When I woke up I showered, careful not to scrub or the tan will get splotchy. My tan was basically perfect after showering. You can repeat the same process the same day if you want an even darker tan too. It lasted for about 5 days before it started to fade. But even then it still showed color for about a week. I use this stuff every week now. One bottle has lasted me 6 tans so far an I am about to order my next bottle. It is so much cheaper than going to get a spray tan at a salon if you have the patience. It's also not orange, at least on me. I don't think it smells bad, it doesn't stain my sheets, and it fades evenly.

I love this, do not believe the bad reviews try it for yourself and be impressed! i read the reviews and i said why not just try it its 12 dollars you can even look for it at your local ulta. so glad i tried it! it smells good, looks good, and gives me the color i wanted to get from st tropez dark.the instant bronze gives you instant satisfaction and you looks good! you can apply and go out no problem, i even saw it was darkening on my legs when i was doing my arms! NO streaks, i was so nervous but i havent had ONE streak Dried FAST but not too fast, i had plenty of time to work on my thigh and still blend things on my calf. or upper arm v lower arm. the color is NATURAL, this is the color my skin would be if i had actually went and tanned, dark but still golden and warm looking. not orange and not green. DOESNT wash off, i left it on 24 hours and washed one leg with soap and compared it the difference was really slight, not like st tropez EASIEST to apply, the application is so quick it blends so well and quickly it doesnt take me 30 min like the st tropez did, and because of that it is so easy to apply another layer the next day because it is sooo easy and quick. it last a few days but i always apply tanner twice a week to keep the color strong. i say TRY it, you never know you may love it and at a fourth of the cost of st tropez, you can maintain a dark beautiful tan all year round without breaking the bank. there;s a reason this is compared to st tropez, its a high end product at a low end price

I was skeptical about purchasing this due to the low price, but I read most of the reviews and it made me feel a bit better. The shipping took no time at all (it seemed). I received it before the expected date, so I was super excited to try it out! (Note to any user of ANY self tanner, male sure you take a shower before and exfoliate very well prior to use. This will get rid of any dead skin and your tan will last longer). I used regular latex gloves to put mine on to prevent it from staining my hands, because it will! They do sell a special mitt for it, I just didn't purchase it at the time bc I wanted to make sure it was a good product. I made sure to follow the directions and applied in a circular motion and made sure to rub it in well. ( after you have applied, I recommend wearing very loose clothing that you don't mind getting the tan on.) It's going to look very dark ,and maybe a bit weird, when you apply it, but don't worry! After you shower (don't shower for at least six hours- i usually do mine close to bedtime. ) the remains of the foam will come off in the shower and your tan will come out looking great! I had no problem with streaks, orange looking skin, or any odd effects that some self tanners can give you. It looks like you just went to a tanning salon and had an expensive spray tan done! You really do have to follow the directions though! It may take some perfecting as you apply it around your feet and hands (I don't recommend putting it on your palms or bottom of feet). I highly recommend this if you need a great and easy to use self tanner! You won't be disappointed!!

I have really sensitive skin and this is one of the only tanning products I've been able to use without breaking into hives. I will say wear gloves, this product is very pigmented BUT from my experience after showering from the first application (8 hours later) the color went very faint. I continued to use it for another 3 days, then tried the product mixed in my lotion and it worked great, gradually building color. I haven't used it in over a week and I still have some color, the product fades nicely. Im just really happy the product didn't cause much irritation. I say much irritation because there were a few times I felt itchy a few hours after application but I didn't experience bumps / hives so that was a major plus! Now let's address the smell, I've never came across a tanning product that didn't have that distinct tanning scent and this one isn't the exception. The initial scent is faint and somewhat clean in comparison to other products, after a few hours that tanning scent creeps out but nothing unbearable. If your hands stain; wash with soap, exfoliate with a mixture of baking soda and sea salt. After a few rinses the product washes the orange from your hands. I didn't try it on any other areas but I'm sure it will have the same benefits. *For reference I have very fair / sensitive skin.

This is my first bad review to write, ever, and I kind of feel like a heel, but whatever. I used St. Tropez before trying this with good results, but decided to try this after the good reviews and who doesn't want to save a buck? It went on really smooth and even, which I loved. The color was different than the St Tropez, a little more orangey than the olive-y undertones of the ST, but that was fine, different product. The color was pretty good once it was on. Also, this was the Dark formula. I put it on that morning and it stayed on a good 8 or 9 hours before I showered it off. I didn't sleep in it, like I normally would because I was at my inlaws house and didn't want to chance it getting on their sheets. First, it did wash off a lot more of the tan than the ST does. Here's the reason for the one star review and I just really want people to be aware. The next day we took our brand new ATV out on the trails intending to stay out of the mud, just trail riding. Mud really isn't my thing, but hey, when in Rome. When I started washing the mud off of my body I was left with VERY NOTICEABLE DARK orange streaks all over my body. I was a little mortified. Not sure if it was the mud, the water there or what.. and it didn't just wash off with water. Thank God I had a towel and I had to scrub really hard (painfully!)to get it off. It was NOT a fun time. Also, it stained the door on my side of our new Rzr and my white popsocket on my phone (obviously less of a big deal than the Rzr door!). Anyway, just my review.

This self tanner was just ok for me. I wasn’t blown away but I wasn’t completely disappointed either. Pros: - the tanner itself is tinted; I like that I can see where I’m applying to know if I need to add somewhere - good scent - great color (not too orange) - develops relatively fast compared to other self tanners (can put it on at midnight and color is well developed by 6:30 AM when I shower) - lasts a few days - color doesn’t really run off onto sheets Cons: - can be difficult to apply; it can take a lot of arm work to smooth out the color and it likes to stick especially to drier spots, even like my chest which was weird - sticky; this stuff takes FOEVER to dry and I never feel like I’m completely dry. I stand in front of my fan for 10 minutes and still feel sticky afterwards. This is my least favorite thing about this product.

Davvero interessante!!! Credevo fosse un procedimento lungo e noioso applicare l'autoabbronzante, invece assolutamente no: basta avere prodotto e strumenti giusti! Questa spuma è facile da applicare, non fa striature, una volta asciutta non ha nemmeno macchiato i tessuti....una bomba! Basta tenerla addosso il numero di ore prescritto come da istruzioni e il gioco è fatto. Ovviamente prima di applicare e necessario fare uno scrub sotto la doccia....ma questa è normale prassi periodica. Dona un colr miele alla pelle molto naturale e dura circa una settimana. La colorazione dark va benissimo per pelli chiare!

Ottimo prodotto, dona un colore naturale, senza aloni “arancioni”. Bisogna passarlo uniformemente sul corpo indossando un paio di guanti in lattice per non macchiarsi le mani. Si assorbe rapidamente, stenderlo in fretta. Non macchia. Non unge. Lascia un gradevole profumo. Lo ricomprerò sicuramente!

Aún no sé si me gusta o no, esperaré a acabar los 2 botes para decidir si me quedo con él para alternarlo con los sprays que tengo o definitivamente dejo de usarlo. Llevo 2 semanas aplicándomelo y a días bien y a otros dudo, lo compré por las buenas recomendaciones que tiene. De momento: PROS: Huele bien, seca rápido, no pringa nada, el tono al acabarlo de aplicar es bonito, en mi piel hiper blanca queda con un moreno amarronado cero naranja, al ducharte en 6-8 horas se rebaja y nunca se te ve pasada de tono. Al tener guía de color no dejammuchas clapas aunque seas patosa en la aplicación. CONTRAS: precisamente que se baja tanto al ducharte, se apaga mucho el dorado playero, yo me lo repito prácticamente a diario porque me gusta el color muy fuerte y este, para ser dark, no es tan oscuro. Deja la piel muy seca y rasposa, tirante. En las manos y ciertas zonas se acumula demasiado y no queda del todo uniforme. Al ir perdiendo el color, se va a escamas, según la sequedad de la zona. Muy difícil encontrar tu tope y un poco pesado aplicarlo con tanto cuidado. Siempre hay que retocar alguna zona. Le quiero dar la oportunidad usándolo más tiempo por lo bien que hablan de él, pero aún estoy valorando las ventajas e inconvenientes.

Den är svårare att applicera än ex St Tropez Mörka Mousse, då den lix fastnar på huden exakt där den hamnar. Man har väldigt kort tid på sig att få det jämnt innan den typ torkar. Så väldigt svårt att få jämnt men blir ok jämnt när man duschar sen. Sen så blir man suuuuuperbrun av själva visnings-färgen men när man duschar bort den senare blir man färgen mycket mycket ljusare, men ger ändå ok färg. Mer åt det orangea hållet än ex St Tropez Mörka Mousse, som är mer grön- pigmenterad. Luktar typ ingen brun utan sol vilket är nice. Så ok produkt för det låga priset! Update: Har använt den en del nu, rekommenderar den inte i ansiktet då det är snudd på omöjligt att få den jämn. MEN!! Den färjar inte av sig alls på kläder eller sängkläder när man smörjt in sig (innan man sköljer av sig)! Det är imponerande! Är kanske för att den torkar mycket fort. Är van vid St Tropez som gör att det blir gult överallt (går dock bort i tvätten sen).
