Won't completely freeze overnight
I bought these for my husband's lunch as the other ice packs were getting old and leaking. They do a great job of keeping his lunch cold all day long. I appreciated how easy it was to cut them down to size to use them in his lunchbox. The only problem I have is that if he freezes them late Tuesday night (8pm) by the time I'm making his lunch on Wednesday (6am) not all the blocks are frozen.Enough are frozen to keep Wednesday lunch cold but still it would be better if they were all frozen. I've tried different freezer temps to try to make this difference but I believe they really need closer to 12 hours of freezing time to be frozen.I would still buy them again as the size and durability makes it well worth the price. They haven't been punctured or broken the seal despite sharp containers pressing up against them.

Very effective at pinpointed pain relief.
I used these frozen sheets on my back when I had sciatica a few years ago. A friend injured her legs in a car accident (no broken bones, just a lot of strains and bruising that caused considerable pain for over a month) so I sent her two packs of these sheets (total of six sheets). She thought it was weird to send so many but as she began using them she discovered two things -- they provide REAL relief from pain, and it's wonderful to have plenty of sheets so that you always have a few that are frozen solid and ready for use when the ones you're using become warm. She swears they made her recovery bearable. They worked well for me too. Four stars instead of five because after many uses one or two of the "cubes" ruptured on one of the sheets and the tiny bit of water inside leaked out. No big deal. I'm still using that sheet, it's still doing a great job and I can't even tell that two of the cubes are empty. The small amount of water than leaked out didn't even create a spill that needed to be cleaned up and because it was just water there was no stain of any kind.

If You're Joe Lunchbucket, These Are Essential!
I purchased the 3-pack of Flexi Freeze Refreezable Ice Sheets in June 2011 to put in my soft-sided cooler. I work outdoors, 5 days a week every week of the year here in Southeast Texas. To keep my bottles of water cold, I used to take my refrigerated bottles and put them in the freezer when I got up in the morning. When I packed them up for the day, they would be partially frozen and stay cold nearly all day long. Then I spotted these ice sheets on Amazon and thought I would try them out. From June 2011 until now, I've only had to use one of them because of the LACK of leaks. I put one of them in the freezer at night and in the morning, I put my water bottles in the bottom of the cooler, the ice sheet on top, and my lunch on top of the ice sheet. The summer of 2011 was brutal for southeast Texas: over 100° 24 days in a row, 45 days over 100°, warmest year on record, and an all-time record high temperature of 109° on August 27th. You can imagine that the temperature in my truck was quite a bit higher than that. These ice sheets kept my bottled water ice cold, all day every day. I cannot say how impressed I was with their performance and I still am on my first ice sheet. The other two are in storage for the day when the first one needs to be retired. So far, I would say 4 or 5 of the little ice cube pockets have leaked their water out, but what the heck?I would buy these all over again without hesitation!UPDATE June 2013: These ice sheets are still going strong. I have still used only the one so far (out of the three sheets purchased) and have had no problems whatsoever.UPDATE June 2019: Well, it is finally time to replace these after 8 years of service. About half the cells are now empty and many others seem to have allowed the water inside to partially evaporate or leak out. And yes, I am ordering another set tonight to replace them!

Not a great long term product
At first these seem really nice, but the plastic making these "cubes" isn't thick enough. I use this to keep my lunches cool every day in a cooler backpack. I use reusable ice blocks on the bottom and these on top (with my food between) - so they have no weight on them, and nothing sharp to touch them. Despite that, on all 3 sheets, I have popped cubes. Now that I've been using these for about 6 months, the rate of cubes popping is picking up really quickly. I think when they re-freeze, sometimes the ice is sharp, and it pokes a hole, which you don't realize is there until the cubes defrost (keeping your stuff cold), and then leak all over your cold items. I'm ridiculously careful with these; I always lay them gently in the freezer and never toss/drop them. I'd imagine if you're at all rough with these, they will have a very short lifespan. I'll give 2 stars because they do work for a little while, but don't count on these to keep your food cold AND dry... just cold.

Not worth it
These begin melt within 5 minutes of of taking out of the freezer. Nothing substantial about this. I bought for a trip to Louisiana from Nevada and after the 2nd day they were just a pain to have to deal with because they were just in the way and had really no purpose since they didn't fo their job.The only purpose I found for these are that I have invisalign and I just cut one cube out and put it on my mouth when it's sore, they melt super quickly and don't stay cold long but for this purpose that's not really a problem. I figured for wasting $20 I'm going to find at least something to do with this. Don't buy

This one item will elevate your status to "the smart one" in your circle of friends and family...
I first bought a set of these ice sheets almost ten years ago and have purchased dozens more since then to give as gifts. We use them to wrap around six packs of drinks, lay them flat and place plates of food on them to keep cold for hours, and more recently, put inside a pillow case and WRAPPED AROUND MY HUSBAND'S LEG AFTER KNEE SURGERY. Some really cool features include cutting them into smaller sizes to put inside a lunch bag. When we need more room in our freezer we simply remove the sheets to store elsewhere. The ice squares will melt but there is no water leakage.....they freeze back up when placed back in the freezer, and no weird smells from the plastic.
