Second one that we have purchased; the first lasted our now-teenage son from age 12 thru 13 before it disintegrated. Two years use for about 10 bucks... can't argue with that at all. Typically it gets filled about halfway up then carried down one flight of stairs to our laundry room to be off-loaded in the washer. The added bonus is it's round shape, as we kinda conned our son into feeling like a hoops star by 'making a basket' at the end of each night as the day's dirty clothes flew into the hamper. Granted, that worked a bit better when he was 12 than now that he is 14, but it still got him out of the habit of leaving a mound of dirty clothes mid-floor. Our expectations for this hamper are the same as the first one; a year or so of pristine condition, followed by wear on the handles and rubs & frays on the mesh, eventually followed by wear through of the mesh and finally a loss of function. But, that took about 24 months last time, which equates to a distributed cost of about 38 cents per month of its lifetime. Can say that, unlike the comments from a couple others, we don't let this hamper get to the point of being crammed packed before making our son go do a load... this one is not made to take heavy weight or much stress on its sides. Treat it nicely and it should last as long as ours did the first time. Is it worth that 38 cents per month cost? You betcha. Highly recommended for what it is -- a nice looking, simply made mesh hamper that does not break the bank. If looking for something similar and have similar expectations, go for it.

The wicker laundry basket that had belonged to my mother had to be 80+ years old. And when the wicker dried out and began falling apart, I had to do something. Being in a 3rd floor walkup with a basement laundry room, whatever replaced that basket had to be lightweight and hold a lot, while being easy to carry up three flights of steps. The hard and soft plastic laundry baskets and bags were either too small or too heavy. Hence, this collapsible version seemed perfect. My only suggestion is it would be nice if the basket height could be adjusted to match the load size. And you might make the straps a tad shorter to make it easier to carry up steps. Otherwise, it's worth the nominal investment.

I bought a pair of these back in 2015 (lol my order history says they were $9.99 ea back then) when I was in college. Fast forward and now it’s 2022 and I’m only just now considering replacing them. The metal ring poked through the lining on the bottom of one of them and that’s the only reason I think I’m going to try a different style of collapsible laundry basket. I would be disappointed but seven years is a pretty long time to make use of something that I did not think would last this long at all! Overall I think they are well worth the money for a laundry basket that you’ll have for many years to come.

I like the hamper. I wish it had a lid because the cats think they found a new place to sleep. I thought it did when I was ordering it, my mistake. I like that it is lightweight, the handles make it easy to haul down to the basement over my shoulder because they are long enough, instead of trying to negotiate the stairs with my clumsy plastic Rubbermaid hamper in front of me. It says it holds 2 loads of laundry, its about accurate, but not quite 2 full size loads. I may order another for the children's room, maybe not a see through one this time though. It feels daunting to see all the laundry every time I walk by it, knowing I have to deal with it. Would also be good for organizing stuffed animals, small balls, & other small toys.

Makes an excellent saltwater fly fishing line basket. I fish on a skiff and my line gets blown all over , so when I strop the line I strip it into this basket. It collapses so I can store it in my boats storage compartment while moving. I took a piece of clear 1/2 tubing and filled it with ball bearings and sealed it and pit it in the bottom to weigh it down. It is better than the $ 300 plastic ones sold at marine shops and will not blow over. First set was stolen by my daughter for her dorm room in college. In addition, makes a fine laundry basket, according to my daughter :)

Be careful—this hamper is poorly constructed and unable to hold standard weights. I didn’t even have mine for a year before the metal began poking out both the top and bottom (see pictures). Do not recommend whatsoever. Poor quality.

Fell apart immediately. I know these are very inexpensive, but I had bought the exact same ones before and they lasted about two years before the mesh tore. This set started breaking almost immediately. In about 6 months the wire started poking through and now it’s sticking out so far they are pretty much unusable (1 year later)

The produced arrived on time as promised by the seller. It is in brand new condition. I have the washing machine in the basement so I carry a full load in it to the basement and so far have not had any issues. I am also extra careful when using it,I don't over load it or anything because I read other reviews where people said the handles broke after a few uses. It's doing the job and is holding pretty well since I got it. Would definitely recommend this product. Only thing. Check shipping charges before purchasing. I wasn't aware as it didn't show on the final check out screeen and ended up paying more which was annoying. But make sure you check the shipping charges. Other than that..product quality is good.

Se adaptó muy bien al espacio que teníamos para colocarlo. Está hecho de buen material y la estructura se queda firme. Totalmente recomendable.
