Quality investment with some unique bonus features
My previous (pretty cheap) cymbal bag finally wore out, so it was time to do my research and invest in a quality one. Once I figured out my budget and what I needed, I narrowed it down to a couple choices, then decided on this MONO bag. Ultimately it was the meeting point of price and great features that swayed me to make this purchase about a month ago. Here are the KEY FEATURES I was looking for that this bag provides:-Dividers. These go almost all the way up...good enough for me.-A way to keep the smaller cymbals separate and secure. (Hats AND splash pockets? Nice touch MONO.)-Reinforced bottom. My cymbals eventually wore through the bottom of my last bag.-Waterproof exterior. Haven't tested in the rain yet, but I trust that it will live up to the description.-Solid handle AND backpack straps for options on how to carry it. Seriously, if you travel a ways with a heavy bag, save your back the pain and use both backpack straps.-Lightweight. Some cymbal bags are heavy before you even put the cymbals inside!-Overall quality materials and craftsmanship. I need this to last. The bag has a few other features that I didn't need, but that I consider COOL BONUSES:-Drum key clip-Hi-hat clutch pocket. I keep a cheap extra in there for peace of mind. It's guarded from the hats so I'm not worried about clinking and cracking the cymbals over time.-Backpack straps can stow away. Their storage pocket covers almost the whole strap--a little shows at the top, but it's enough to keep them from dangling and getting in the way.-The big flat exterior back pocket for storing the backpack straps can also fit your sheet music and drumsticks. But careful--this pocket has only one velcro seal in the middle, so if you don't keep the bag upright your sticks could escape. My FEEDBACK:-If you keep a key on the clip, it may clink against your hats. If you're afraid of chipping your hats, don't keep a key on the clip--maybe just stash it with the clutch. I DO use this clip, but so far just to hold my main keychain once I've sat down to play. Feels better than tossing them on the floor next to me.-I was hoping for dividers in the smaller pockets as well. I have a few splashes and want to keep them separate. I may look into getting an insert or just keeping some soft cloth in there.-When putting a cymbal in the back-most slot, it sometimes catches on the upper part of the "boot". This is an extra layer of interior padding that spans the bottom of the bag and goes a little ways up both sides, for extra protection on the bottom. No biggie. I'll get used to it I'm sure, but if your cymbal has a sharp/cut edge and you're not careful, maybe you would start to cut into the inside back wall of the bag. I'll just be more careful when using the back slot--the extra protection is worth it.-Some other reviewers find fault in the plastic buckles. They do their job just fine so far. I guess they're not as high quality as the other materials used for this bag, but I probably wouldn't have noticed or considered this a fault myself. Maybe they'll be the first thing to go if mistreated, but hopefully that won't be an issue.BOTTOM LINE:-It delivers on all the important fronts (imho).-For a gigging drummer with cymbals worth protecting, this bag is worth the investment.-I am very happy with this purchase. Thanks MONO.

Best Cymbal case in 40 years of drumming.
I cannot begin to tell you how many Zildjian or Paiste cymbals bags I've have from vinyl to fake leather. Always failing with the rigors of regular gigging. A rip here and tear there, and the worst was my most expensive Zildjian bag whose yarn handle frayed to inconvenience level where my drum tech had to wrap black gaff tape around the handles. But you know what happened next. They started getting sticky. Enter Mono. Not only is this case holding up durability wise, but it is a practical bag as well. Very thoughtful in design. But here's the win for me, and that's when I play smaller gigs with just hats, ride and a crash, this thing has backpack straps. What? Yeah man. And they are comfortable. Easy peezy to even one-shoulder it to the next venue a few blocks down. Look, you could try to research value vs cost, but why don't I save you some time. Buy this bag. Be happy. Avoid wasting your valuable time and go with tried and true purchases.

Great But For One Small Flaw
I'm a good bit behind writing this review - I purchased this bag through Amazon in November of 2018, so nearly 6 years ago.Functionally, I have no issues with the bag - it has held up great, protects my cymbals, has useful features - all of it.The one nagging thing is aesthetic, but now that it's happened, it's driving me crazy: the piping used around all of the edges has literally crumbled and fallen off, and in its current state, it's pretty danged unsightly. But, the bag is still functional, and form follows function - I just wish they'd have used a material that wouldn't have dry rotted and fallen apart for the piping on the edges.

Made my gigging life so much easier!
This is just a great cymbal bag all around - just the fact that I can carry my cymbals on my back now like a backpack is HUGE - frees up both hands to carry all the other stuff, if you know what I mean ;) And with all the other compartments in it - I can fit almost everything else I need in there too - sticks, a towel, misc. HW, tuner, drum key, earplugs, etc. I liked this bag so much I got one for my son as well because he is also a gigging drummer and he can't live without now either!

Overall great product, but bindings disintegrated over the years
This bag is sturdy and well designed. The interior is well fabricated and the material used is top notch. It will fit a lot of cymbals, I myself have 7 cymbals in it plus the hi-hats. It is very welcome to have a place to put only the splashes (up to 10 inches). Also the bottom has pads that prevent scratches to the fabric. However, after 1 year of use, the bindings around the case started to disintegrate on its own, it is very frustrating that such an expensive product has this kind of flaw.

Simply AMAZING Quality, hands down the BEST Cymbal CASE EVER
I was a little worried at first for I just returned a Sabian Cymbal Pac due to cheap poor quality & very flimsy, junk. I researched more & it came down to the Reunion Blues or this Mono M80 if one wants real quality. I'm sure the Reunion Blues is also top notch & a great choice from what I saw online but for me I simple thought the Mono design was younger, more fresh, great design & also a slightly less expensive. Upon opening the inside I was EXTREMELY excited & completely surprised to see the Cymbal Dividers were UPDATED. Everything on line showed little short dividers covering only about 1/4 the way up, which almost made me not purchase but upon inspection they updated the dividers to full Plush Sleeves, Simply gorgeous. Great Job Mono Very Pleased.Nothing Beats USA Quality!!!!
