These storage bins are the perfect size for my closet shelves. I needed extra storage for my linens and out of season clothes. Good quality. Lightweight but the fabric and metal supports make these feel very sturdy. Mine didn't have any weird smells. My items feel protected and I like that I can see what's inside each bin.

Idk how I missed it in the description but inside each storage bin is a firm wire frame that you unfold and lock into place. That is why they’re sturdier than other fabric bins with only the bottom board you push into place, to get stability. Mine are the XL size and are quite large but not cumbersome. I can’t say enough good things about these. I want them in all of the sizes now, lol! And they’re not expensive at all considering they have top & front access and they work! It’s worth noting the top is not solid so it can be unzipped for placing items inside, or removing them. It will sag slightly if you set weighted items on top. However they do stack on top of each other for a nice neat appearance. If you need flexible storage do not hesitate to buy these. I give 5 stars. ( Although not sure what Amazon is asking in reference to ‘sheerness’ question?) They aren’t see through but do have the nice big clear plastic window in the front that also unzips.

These were exactly what I needed. They're sturdy and it helps keep my laundry in order. I thought that they were made from a breathable canvas but they're not. That was my mistake for not reading the description thoroughly. They're still great and I ended up ordering more. I have been able to fit two king size sheet sets into one and could likely fit more in there. I've also used another to store towels and washcloths for my baby. I ended up ordering the smaller set for my nursery to store bibs, burp cloths , and receiving blankets in the closet. I would recommend these.

There was no chemical smell at all, none whatsoever when I opened the new packs when first received. I'm very sensitive to chemical odors, so I really appreciated they were totally free of that. So if you're concerned, I can attest these ones have been entirely free of any chemical smell. When I remove the linens or clothes from the bins, they still smell fresh like they did when I first put them in after washing and drying. They retain the fresh laundry fragrance for quite a long time and even after that's gone, they still remain fresh smelling for as long as they're stored inside the bins, even in the absence of any distinct fragrance. And they don't impart any type of chemical or other smell on the stuff you store inside. That is hugely important to me. Best storage bins I've ever found. I first purchased the large ones (19.7x15.7x13) and loved them so much, I later bought a set of the medium size and plan to buy another set of medium plus a set of small ones. These storage bins are sturdy and well constructed, the stainless steel wire frame is simple and easy to insert into the fabric cube, which comes folded. The wire is thick enough that it has the strength to provide a sturdy structure that holds its shape and sits up instead of collapsing in the middle like other brands. I use these not only for storing off-season items, but also for holding things I use regularly. Easy to store on wire shelving units.

Far superior than another brand sold on TV shopping. Those are plastic-like and rip, can't hold much other than wubbies or stuffed animals. I've had to replace them all with the CYhom. Heavier fabric, more durable and the metal rods do not bend or slide out of place. If you move, use these instead of buying boxes that go into landfill. I use them instead of big furniture to hide stuff and they keep me a lot more organized.

I have several of these bins, some smaller. I use them for storing yarn; I have a great deal of yarn! As yarn is pretty lightweight, these bins are ideal. I have other bins with no visible areas on the sides, so I did not know what was in each bin. With clear sections on the wide front, and also the side, the bins are ideal; you can stack the wide or narrow side, and still see the contents. Also, better than other bins - you want the collapsible metal frame so you can stack the bins. With no metal frame, the bins have to be completely full, and even then, you can't stack them without the stack looking like the Leaning Tower of Pisa. With metal frames, I can stack the bins right up to the ceiling, and with zippers on the sides as well as the top, you don't have to unstack bins to take out contents. I've ordered more of these bins; that's how much I love them If you are looking for bins to store heavier items, I don't think the bottom, fabric would hold.

The material is great, wear-resistant, and does not have any unpleasant smell. It can hold a lot of things and I will consider buying more in the future.

Love these little boxes! We use them to store different Lego sets for my son and they tuck nicely under the bed! I love that he can see his sets inside!
