Plantronics Voyager 5200 Bluetooth Headset

This Bluetooth has been amazing. The quality is great. The sound is crystal clear, and I love the volume control. I am not tech savvy, but this is very easy to use and adjust to. The fit is perfect even with my glasses. I get great distance from my phone, and I love the features that it has, especially notification of who's calling and if I wish to accept or decline the call. This has been a great investment for me. If you are looking for a Bluetooth that is easy to use, reliable, and has good quality, this would be perfect for you.

I, absolutely, love this product. It is comfortable and as clear as clear can be. Do not let the bulkiness of it put you off; It fits like a dream. The only major problem I had was that our South African Customs completely decimated the packaging. When I received it, my heart sank because of the state it arrived in. The packaging was not open but torn almost beyond recognition. The beautiful packaging that held my Voyager completely destroyed my hopes for a while. I thought that the product would be damaged because this Plantronics Voyager 5200 was my dream Headset. I was so worried that I would not receive this product because Of a High-end HD Camera that was stolen by our S.A. Customs and never reached me. It has been five years since. But, I thank God I received my dream Head-set. Is there any way that Amazon can speak to our South African Customs to not destroy products?

I convinced my husband to finally get a headset. He has been resisting for many years. He FINALLY agreed after an incident where he couldn't hear because he didn't have a head set. I already have a Plantronics Voyager 5200 and had him try mine for a day and he fell in love with it. I have had mine for 3 years and it is still going strong. I also have really bad tinnitus and cannot have things in my ears... This does not go completely in the ear, but rests against it. Further headsets that only sit in the ear or have tiny wires that go around the ear are a joke, they break or fall out of my ear. The noise cancellation for wind and ambient sound is superior to any other headsets I've worn. Over the past few years that I've owned my own Voyager 5200 (and the Legend before that for 2 years), I've had friends and coworkers try my headset and many have switched to Plantronics Voyager series, discovering how horrible everything else really is.

The Plantronics Voyager has been a dependable companion for my daily communication needs. Its sleek design, comfortable fit, and excellent call quality make it a solid choice for business and personal use. Battery life is impressive, lasting through long workdays without needing a recharge. However, I've encountered occasional connectivity hiccups, and the controls can be a bit finicky. While it's not perfect, the Plantronics Voyager's overall performance and comfort make it a valuable hands-free solution for those in need of a reliable Bluetooth headset.

Best Bluetooth headset out there. Worked great on my Pixel XL phone until Google went from 7.1.2 to Oreo 8.0 operating system. Now my 5200 will not speak the address book name of the incoming call. It only says incoming call. Prior to Oreo, the caller i.d. worked great. I called Plantronics and made them aware of it. We thoroughly test the headset on various mobile phones and only the mobile phone that had caller id problems was Google Pixel XL that was running system version Oreo 8.0. Plantronics said they will notify their engineers and get back to me within a few days. My hope is Plantronics fixes the issue soon since it is a great headset, even in high wind, but even better when the caller id works.

I've had a dozen bluetooth Plantronics headsets over the past decade with no issues, but this one is a let-down. It gets one star for the "pros" when it is working: -- PROS: When it works , the noise cancellation is superior (as I am told by the callers on the other end). Battery life is good, and the unit is comfortable. -- CONS: Most of the time, the headset will not connect to my phone automatically. I have to restart bluetooth radio on the phone, and/or re-join the headset. I thought maybe it was the phone, but my older Plantronics Voyager has no issues with that phone. I notice that the headset says "no phone available" yet my phone shows it as connected ... that's a new one. At that point, I can usually re-pair the headset without fail, but if I turn off the headset, it won't reconnect. -- FIRMWARE: I thought maybe the issues were with the firmware, and there is an update available. However, I can not update the firmware. I use their PLT app to do the update, and it fails every time with error 400109. I am still waiting for an email response from Plantronics about this issue. :-(

Works good. PLANTRONICS is definitely the best. I buy new ones all rhe timebecause I lose them. (Probabaly my 5th or 6th one) It seems that every newer edition isn't has hardy and robust as rhe earlier models in very small ways. So when I eventually find the old ones (which i always do after new one arrives, ha) I go back to the older ones. Regardless, still better than any other earpiece.

The default La gauge on this earpiece is not English. So far changing language instructions are not working. Otherwise earpiece works great. This is my second one in ten years. They last forever if you don’t lose them!!

Dopo aver acquistato altri auricolari, con grossi problemi di audio, sono tornato al brand Plantronics, di cui negli anni ho provato almeno tre modelli, sostituiti dopo anni di onorato servizio. Audio ottimo (alcune distorsioni quando utilizzato abbinato al PC per collegamento Skype), anche in auto con la radio accesa: finalmente si torna a sentire bene dopo modelli cinesi (che costavano comunque almeno 30 euro) con i quali non si sentiva niente e si disconnettevano sempre. Il costo non è basso, ma la qualità merita un sacrificio, considerando anche la longevità media (basandomi sugli altri modelli acquistati in precedenza). Un unico appunto la durata della batteria: mi pare che da quando arrivi l'avviso di "Low Battery" passi poco tempo prima dello spegnimento improvviso.

It's a amazing product a bit on the expensive side but worth it for the price . NC is upto the mark as mentioned . Sound quality is crystal clear

Works good. Doesn’t recognize my voice commands very well though. Never answers the call when I say “Answer “

El sonido es genial... se oye muy bien... la comodidad le falla un poco porque es demasiado tocho para la oreja y molesta. La bateria dura poquillo tenia otro mas basico que duraba muchisimo... pero en si el aparato es muy bueno.

Je l'utilise au quotidien depuis presque 2 ans (idem pour la compagne qui a acquis le sien) : produit TOP. Le DSP est excellent et filtre tous les bruits ambiants (= qualité sonore impeccable pour l'interlocuteur, même dans les transports en commun). La batterie tient plus que 5h en appel (en usage vraiment intensif, avec le boîtier/batterie 24h sans pb) Unique bémol : seulement 2 périphériques connectés simultanément Je ne regrette aucunement mon achat (idem pour tous ceux à qui je l'ai chaudement conseillé)
