Covered rust in one coat! It has been 2 weeks and no rust has bled through. Color is true to the shad on the can.

Applied well and covered my natural gas pipe coming into my home and meter with beautiful coat; evenly and properly- couldn’t ask for a better size or quality product.

I've used Rustoleum enamel paints for a number of years on exterior gates, bars, and gas meters. Always has proven to be a tough, easy to apply paint that hides/resists rust. This color, gloss smoke gray, was a perfect match for the gray on my gas meter.This can size is perfect for use as touch ups and is difficult to find in stores (at least locally here). Amazon ships this with small clamps as well that help hold the top of the can on during shipping, be sure you have a small 1/8 screwdriver to pop those clamps off. Also note that this is an oil based paint so you can't wash it off with water, you'll need mineral spirits.

Finally found this product on Amazon, the box stores only want to sell this product by the quart size or larger. Only needed a small pint size for a small touch up job.
