What is this product? is it a shampoo or kinda like gel? if gel, how does it compare to the ice hair gel?

This is a hair thickening serum. I have very fine hair and have used this for about 10 years. I use about 1 pump on wet hair, blow it dry and it makes my hair thicker and have more volume than any other product I have tried. I have never used ice hair gel.

The product description says this is a hair serum, so why is there a picture of hemorrhoid cream???

Can you this on beards?

I use it on my hair, have done so for decades. My hair is very fine, this product provides body. I don't know how it would work on a beard. Depends what you are looking for.

Does this help with growing the hair or just making it thicker?

Just checked my Amazon purchase history, been using this product daily since December of 2017. That being said, it definitely thickens hair. I don't believe it grows hair. That being said, I am a late 40's male and hair loss runs in my family, my hair is still nice and thick with minimal loss. Hope this helps.
