A must if you’re are a astrophotographers

Works exactly how it should.
The construction of this products is pretty solid with it being all metal and no plastic. I bought this adapter because it was cheap and readily available. I attached this to a Nikon D3400 and the fit is perfect. There is no play whatsoever between the camera and the adaptor. This adapter then fit into my 1.25" adapter on my telescope with no fitting issues. With the lack of play from this adapter, I am comfortable with attaching this to other telescopes in different locations (on the telescope, depending on the telescope type). I also tried out some filters and the threads work out just like any other name brand product. Just know that depending on the telescope you have you my need an extension tube to focus, or you can use a barlow lens and be fine depending on what you are trying to shoot. Those crazy laws of physics :)

Line up the dot
When I first tried this I thought it didn't connect quite right and would spin loosely. There is a red dot to line up on the white dot of the camera body, just like you do when putting on the lense and it fits on perfectly. The problem I have is that my telescope eye pieces are too small and it doesn't fit in the focusing tube. Maybe I just have super old telescopes because I can't find an adapter to this to fit the eye piece which is a bummer.

Design to affix camera can cause DSLR to fall out
Unit does not have any ridges for fixing screws to catch, it is a smooth cylinder and is only held by pressure where it attaches. Camera can fall if you loosen one of the screws, like mine did. I now have to replace the lcd screen on my Nikon

Simple and straightforward to use
This works as described and is simple and straightforward in use. Only concern I had was the construction material (plastic?) and if it would hold the weight of the camera body which it did. Might be a slight concern with a bigger camera body. Good value for cost.

The position on the T Ring to rotate to get a lock in the camera
The product is used to connect my Nikon 5200 DSLR to a 9005 120ST AstroView 120mm refractor also purchased from you. Eventually found a small red dot on the ring barrel to line up with the white dot alignment on my Nikon to twist and lock, took me a while to find it...Red to White lock point. Better to make it white not red I think...more intuitive assembly. Its a good well engineered product with fine threads and a good finish. Happy with it. Just love that Orion refractor.

Can turn the wrong way
It works perfectly for any camera with an f mount on it, one nitpick is that when trying to remove it, it can rotate both ways so if you turn it The wrong way it can be a pain to remove.
