Great pie dishes, Nice size and color

These are so pretty! They have a nice weight to them & my crust did not stick. I also have the matching bowls.

I bought these in Ceylon blue and they’re beautiful. I made a veggie potpie in one of them; I really like the size: they’re 9” in diameter. When the pie was gone I put the pie plate in the dishwasher and it did great. I’m buying another set in red for Christmas gifts. Love these and the price for TWO is amazing.

Considering I needed these pie dishes immediately overnight on Prime and the price was low, I decided to give these a try. I received two dishes in perfect physical condition; however, while they were the same color, the dishes didn't match and were a shade off from each other, with one more faded looking than the other. This is a miss, and should have never happened. The overall quality was mediocre. With both pie dishes having 100s of tiny bubbles in the glaze, running the surface texture, and appearance. Possibly a safety hazard if the glaze chips and the bubbles do make razor sharp edges. Few bubbles is expected at this price point, but on both plates, they were covered. This is obviously a manufacturing process issue, and is also a miss. I baked pumpkin pies in both dishes without issue. placing both in a hot of 425F to bake the crust, and 330F to bake the pie for over an hour. The pies didn't stick (they were butter crusts, typical of pumpkin pie) and I didn't grease the pie dish before baking, just bare. Typically butter crusts never stick anyway. The dishes are thick, about 3/8", and have a pretty design. Again the plates didn't match, even though they were shipped as a set. The fact that they're 3/8, expect a little less capacity as compared with metal pie tins, and some glass pie dishes. Not unexpected, so the thickness/less capacity didn't affect my review rating. If you need cheap stoneware pie dishes, fast, and don't care too much about the quality, these are the ones to buy. Fact is, they're not that cheap, and considering the defects in the glaze and the mis matched colors on a shipped set, I can't recommend this product. These are dollar store quality. At least on the set I received, workmanship needs to improve on this product. I'm going to give them a very generous 3 stars because the design is nice, and they work, but had there been any other issues, I'd put up a 1 star review for sure.
