KSG / KS7 Recoil Pad

Worked like a charm for my Gen 2 KS7, Granted I never shot it stock but from what I read of the stock KS7 this recoil pad did its job perfectly. Had no bruises after shooting my KS7 for the 1st time.

I haven't had a chance to shoot my KS7 yet, after installing the recoil pad. I purchased it after watching a lot of reviews and wanted something that would lesson the recoil. The KS7 has some kick to it and having that extra cushion will go a long way in comfort and staying longer at the range. The installation took only a couple of minutes and fits very nice and snug once the screws are tightened. It also gives the KS7 a little extra coolness factor. Great product and price.

I didn't know what I was getting into. All I know is the appeal to the KS7 is that its very short and very light. When you combine that with 430 gr of rifled slug, it tends to Newton's Law you in the shoulder something fierce. So before even tempting reciprocity with a predictable outcome, I ordered and installed this mitigator of misery. 1) It was easy to install. But it did not come with instructions, nor was it obvious how. Youtube it. Then, it was easy. 2) It handled slug, 00 buck, and bird as if they were all the same load. 3) Did not come home with bruises. 4) Does not create an awkward recoil delay 5) The shape of it is not weird against your shoulder 6) It is not especially bulky or heavy or intrusive. 7) It is reasonably priced unlike boujie coffee drinks these days.

Replaced original pad on a 12ga. and felt recoil was significantly reduced. I didn't expect much but was surprised at how comfortable the recoil became. Ran over 200 rounds in one day and had almost no shoulder/ arm fatigue. Well worth it! Price point was low as well making this a definite choice. If image is a concern, it looks nice on tactical style shotguns.

Fits pretty well, but because it's such a soft rubber, it does shift/wiggle a little when in place (stability issue). I don't love that in a buttpad, but it's not the end of the world. I've had one of these for a while on a KSG, and this one's on a KS7, so I do know it's sturdy, and it'll last. The thickness makes for about the perfect "compromise" length of pull between me and my spouse (8 inch difference in height).

This is a great aftermarket piece for the Keltec shotguns. I think it's better than the factory provided ones

This pad absorbs a good amount of impact and recoil. The shape is great for the shoulder, and it is very solid when installed properly. You will need to take out the two pins, and take the rear buttstock off. You will then loosed the 4 or 5 (depends on model) 2.5 mm hex screws. It is on the MO Tactical website and it has video instructions. If you don't, and just remove the pad and slide this one in it will not be retained correctly. If you don't remove the butt stock and just loosen the screws it will not be retained correctly either, because the stock can not "expand" properly. If the instructions are followed it will be tight, and not come loose. They lay out the instructions for a reason.

Great pad, actually makes a huge difference especially when shooting for a long time. Seems to be good quality too.
