No timer, no temperature indicator no light showing on or off. Pretty shabby. I''m unsure if it heats enough to cook chicken. Use as pot plant holder.

The high hopes i had Hamilton did not met at all.

I didn’t realize this didn’t have an indicator light on it. 😜. When I plugged it in and turned it on there was no light. I thought it didn’t work or my electric was out in that socket! 😜 It does work great and high is HOT. Love that it is very large and has different temperatures. Great for big gatherings or making large amounts of homemade sauces, soups, roasts, etc.

This is the perfect slow cooker for a single person. I can make two to four generous servings in a single go. Now that I've had for a year I can't image cooking without it.
