great customer service
I had been doing extensive research to find an appropriate frame for my antique headboard/footboard. I had taken all the measurements, and none of the other options on Amazon seemed like they would work. The specific problem was that I needed the feet to be able to extend 8'' from the bottom of the foot insert to the floor, which the other ones available only extended to 6''. I ended up e-mailing this seller through Amazon because I wanted to verify the length of the feet. The seller contacted me within 10 minutes of my e-mail and we spoke over the phone for about 15 minutes to make sure this frame would work. The seller went above and beyond helping me by e-mailing me the specific measurements, exactly how to measure my headboard/footboard to make sure it would fit properly. They even provided a cut-out of the hook-in part of the frame that I printed, cut out, and hooked in to verify a sure fit.I'm giving this frame a 4-star rating for two reasons. First, the hook-in edges were bent at odd angles when we received it. It literally looked like someone had taken pliers and bent all 4 hook-in inserts on the ends of the frame! My husband had to bend all of them back so they would fit. Second, once we installed and extended the legs to 8 inches they seemed really wobbly and bend at an able a little bit. The whole purpose of this frame was to have the feet touching the floor for support!! We ended up cutting some cardboard and slipping it under the feet so they wouldn't be extended as far and bend. This frame is only for an extra bed that gets used maybe a month out of the year, and so far the guests that have used it have all said it sleeps fine. I say definitely get the frame if you don't have to extend the feet that far!

$3 part NOT Included
We order these rails and spent a bit more than we had to because we wanted something durable and sturdy. The package arrived as scheduled and we went to assemble the frame so that our son could get his bed set up. There is no mention in the product description that in order to get the bed rails functional you will need a set of "C Clamps" (bed rail clamps) that is NOT INCLUDED in their packaging. Wow, spend $100 bucks and get left without a $3 dollar necessity, without being told they these are necessary before the purchase. We can't rate the sturdiness of the rails because it's in the middle of the floor, UNUSABLE, due to the lacking bed rail clamps. 1 Star for assembly because we can't complete the assembly (local hardware store and local Home Depot do not carry the clamps). 1 Star for value because they MIGHT be good rails after we complete assembly...3 days later...

Not actually adjustable
While the width is adjustable in theory, it is not adjustable in practice and therefore is not usable. The width of the frame pieces can be adjusted, but in order to put the frame hooks onto the headboard and footboard, the frame width must be set to whatever the distance is for the headboard and footboard slots into which the hooks connect. In the case of my headboard and footboard, this frame connected and is two inches too wide for the mattress. The frame sides do not support the mattress and therefore all the weight is being supported by the middle piece. A truly adjustable frame would have the hooks be adjustable so that they fit whatever the gap is between the headboard slots and still fit the mattress width tightly to support it. There are other add-on braces for regular mattress frames that do this, but the design of this product does not do it and therefore is completely useless.

Found a frame that works
I previously purchased bed rails from another company and the first thing the rails did when it was all together and I sat down on my bed was bend. So I set out to find something much sturdier. I happened upon this frame. This bed gets the job done with a few modifications that I needed to make myself. First I added some wooden slats between the two rails to help with supporting the bed noting against the frame as it seems like it could without as the width of the rails is sufficient and of course the cross bars would support. The second modification I made was putting small squares of wood underneath the six support feet. I have carpet flooring in my room so the feet were sinking in and not supporting but the wooden squares remedied that fairly easily..My overall impression is that this is indeed a sturdy frame made of good steel and works very well for a queen size bed. The hooks did have a little problems nesting into the slots on the headboard and foot board but I was able to get them seated well enough. All in all a good buy and worth the money.

Great bed frame
Love that it has built in metal slats. Also like that it can be used on a twin or double bed. My daughter was so tired of her wooden slats falling out, this solved the problem.

Wish I kept searching...
Needed new rails for vintage family heirloom queen bed. These are harder to find than you'd think. Took quite longer to arrive than we expected. Packaging was terrible at best, leaving one end of rails/hooks bent and bag of parts ripped open. We pryed hooks straight and got it all assembled. It works but is much longer than standard, so we have a gap at footboard end of bed. Hmmmm guess I measured incorrectly before ordering.Suits the purpose I guess, but would I order again? - No.

Bent bed rails
Frame was bought and rails were bent upon arrival. The rails would not attach to the headboard or footboard due to the prongs being bent. Can’t say much for sturdiness since it wouldn’t even attach. Mother went in hospital and wasn’t able to put together until now. Return window has closed so this pile of junk is just sitting in the floor. Lesson learned on my end…don’t order furniture that could be damaged online.
