My first impression is that so far is the best eyebrow pencil I've used. At least for me, personally. I often use the chunkier Elf eyebrow pencils or the Benefit one. It usually doesn't turn out great. I am not a whiz at make up for sure lol. This eyebrow pencil was very easy to apply and shape my sparse, fine eyebrows. I have no idea why it was so easy. Maybe it's the formula? Anyway I highly recommend trying it especially for the price. The colour match was great as well. Better than my others.

I normally use THE $2 e.l.f. Instant Lift Brow Pencil in the shade Deep Brown, so I wasn't sure how the Ultra Precise would compare regarding color or formula, but I wanted to give it a try. The Cool Brown shade in the Ultra Precise works well with my skintone & dark hair, although it is slightly lighter than what I'm used to using. The formula is a bit more "stiff" (not as creamy) compared to the Instant Lift, but it still goes on quite smoothly & does a good job of filling-in the very sparse areas if I use quick, short strokes as is recommended with this kind of product. It also covers the brow hairs that have turned white from aging, as well as fills-in the almost now non-existent tails nicely. I was very happy with the staying power, & the precision that the smaller diameter twist-up pencil provides was welcomed, although it does take a little longer for me to complete my brows due to the aforementioned sparseness. I have been surprised by how long the pencil lasts, but this may be due to the stiffer, more waxy formula. For someone with thicker brows with just a few gaps here & there, this might definitely be a more ideal product for them. I'm glad I tried it, as it is a very nice product & good value, but I will probably go back to my usual Instant Lift only because it is a bit quicker for my particular brow needs.
