I've tried a few Allies of Skin products before and really liked them, so it was a no brainer for me to try this one. This one has multiple forms of hyaluronic acid in it, so your skin is more likely to hold on to moisture better. Different forms and different weights of hyaluronic acid penetrate the skin layers differently, so having this serum will help ensure that your skin is getting a form it can work with. I've been loving this serum, with the exception of the scent. It's pretty stinky in my opinion, even though there are added perfuming ingredients. It must be really, really awful smelling without those. The smell dissipates pretty quickly though, so for the benefits this serum provides, it's a non-issue. You do need to use a good moisturizer after this serum and I also use a hydrating toner before the serum. That way the hyaluronic acid has some moisture to work with. Even in the dry winter, my skin is holding moisture better; I can tell by the way cosmetics are sitting better on my mature skin. There are some nice brightening, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory ingredients as well. I started using this serum 2 weeks ago and it caused irritation and acne within a week. I have a pretty good skin, a bit on a dry side, but I never got any issues with other serums before this one. I suspect the manufacturer uses very aggressive ingredients! BEWARE AGGRESSIVE COMPONENTS THAT MAY CAUSE SKIN ALLERGIES
