Once the machine heats up after extended use, I lower the temperature slightly to avoid over-sealing. Tips: Test your heat sealer settings first — small adjustments make a big difference If sealing in batches, expect to lower the temp as your machine warms up Downsides: None I’ve experienced over years of use.
