While there are obvious visual differences between the pso-back and the pso-spine, what are the differences in practical use ?

Hi there, The Pso-Back has more aggressive peaks for enhanced pressure, along with a slight arc to help restore the proper sway of the lower back. The Pso-Spine is more of a beginner tool, and the Pso-Back is more enhanced/professional. Hope that helps.

I am petite at 5"1 & 100lbs with a small frame; will this be too big?

Hi No this will be great for your whole back. Focus on the lower part of your back doing little crunches and then slowly bring it up your spine and lay back slowly. Make sure to focus on Deep breathing. Breath at least 6 times to allow the nervous system to relax. Listen to your body if something feels funny before you get all 6 breathes come off and give your back a rest. Listen to your body is the number one thing.
