Great deal for awesome product
Works great! Great value compared to expensive linemans butt set. I argue it actually works better, is lighter, and is a faster tool

Good at what it does.
This a very simple but wonderful tool. For a rural Sys Admin, there are locations I end up at where a fax line is down. This has cut diagnostics time down to mere seconds. It's compact and portable, comes with a few adapters, and does exactly what you would expect it to do.The only con:- When you first pull it from the box it has a strong smell of toxic plastic. After a few days the smell fades.

Very Good with some additional accessories
Pros - Display lights up if typical line voltage detected, usually means dial tone. Easy to use and more compact and cheap compared to other buttsets. Performs the typical tasks for a handset quickly and easily, rj11 plug on unit is a handy component for quickly swapping between clips and probes or other attachments.Cons - clipset booties make using the clips cumbersome and solder on clips Will break under normal usage. The FtF Rj11 adapter does not always seat properly, replace with a rj11 line splitter or another adapter.Over all, after the loss of an expensive lineman handset [theft] I was loaned one of these, I then ordered this unit to replace my stolen tool. Why? Aside from the issue with the clips and the adapter, it does the same job at less than a tenth the cost.

Worked awesomely
Our phone stop working (landline) and AT&T would have charged us to come troubleshoot/fix problem. This phone clips to wires outside the house to check for dial tone telling us if problem is inside house or outside of house. It was outside hook up box. Wires were loose and we only had to tighten screws up so there was a connection again. So suck u AT&T, I did it myself!

Super cheap in both ways....but it works....you won't cry if you lose or break it :-)
I use this as a backup when my "better" butt set is being used/missing/etc....Buttons are super tiny and feel cheap....as they should for this price.Stocking stuffers for Phone technicians ??? LOL...maybe

Does it's job, feels fragile though.
I have only used it twice so far to test for dial tone when a customer getting internet and phone didn't have a home phone available. So far it works, but it feels like it will break easily so I refuse to leave it in the back of my van with my other tools and keep it up front. Cheap cost so if it does break I won't really freak out.

Great value for the price.
This is a simple test phone to do occasional phone line testing. Its not a professional phone butt set that linemen use daily. Its comes with alligator clips for a 66 block and a 110 block test head, both worknfine. If youre looking for a durable day to day tool that can be used in the rain and survive a drop from a telephone pole dont buy this, spend $100 and get a professional test handset with the bed of nails clips. This is for your occasional troubleshooting and it excels at that for the price.

Worked 3 times then died
Needed an affordable option for the sporadic phone work that I do. Got to a job today and it wouldn't work. Pay more and get a better product. I've only used this on 3 jobs and it crapped out between the third and fourth jobs.
