It's a great hammock and I had never done hammock camping before. The bug net is awesome but it was 20 degrees last weekend so we didn't have many bugs. It's strong and and sets up in a few minutes so you can get on to other things like starting that fire. The kit includes all required ropes but I recommend getting some straps and beaners to make it even easier. Eastern Ridge contacted me and they are really cool, really helpful people. Would and will buy again. Review: Nice hammock, good quality material with good zipper and ... - Nice hammock, good quality material with good zipper and net. If net had 4 support loops-2 on each side it would spread out better. Instead of 1 on each end. Net, if not for that I would have given it a 5 star. Otherwise no issue, kept Mosquitos out ! I do like the little pocket sewn in pocket on inside of hammock to put cell phone and watch.

Well made, comfortable and affordable!
Great affordable hammock! This is well made. It supported me at 225lbs with no problems at all. It is not the roomiest hammock i have used but it decent. You can get a pretty good diagonal lay in it. The bug screen is not the best for breath ability but did stop all the bugs. I would recommend for someone looking to get into hammocks to give this one a try!

Hammock all Summer
It is great to be able to use the hammock during bug season! We use our hammocks when hiking as well as snoozing in the back yard. The hammock is infinitely more comfortable than a hard shelter floor. This well made hammock makes sleeping outside do-able all Summer. The hammock is as comfortable as a far more expensive one we bought a few years back. A question about the hammock was answered by the vendor immediately so I was also impressed with Eastern Ridge customer service. Be a bit careful with the netting and this hammock should last a long time.

The hammock itself seems nice but the netting leaves a lot to be desired
The carabineer provided broke before I even got in the hammock, all i did was push down on it with my hands to see if the straps on trees (not provided) would not slide and it broke in two. Had the top of the netting attached to 2 flimsy branches so there would be give when the hammock moved, both pulled apart from the netting. while sleeping I tried to adjust the sleeping bag a little and must have leaned on the netting on the side a bit and wound up on the ground! I realize the netting is not designed to withstand the weight of a person but leaning against it a bit and falling through ... C'mon! The hammock itself seems nice but the netting leaves a lot to be desired.

Bug net is easy to tear
Overall the hammock itself is great. 2 of The straps holding up the bug net broke the very first use, leaving holes. The company did offer a refund but I decided to just keep the hammock and fix them myself. I hope in the future they redesign the bug net and maybe make it a little more heavy duty at least around the straps.

you better bundle up
Netting is a pain, plus the hammock kinda shallows you. Keep in mind that it's Very breathable. So if it's cold and windy, you better bundle up. Plus it doesn't come with straps.

I should have gotten this a lot sooner, why was I stalling??
I'm so excited to post this video about my new camping hammock. This items is a must have for all travelers, hikers and vagabonder or just a lazy snooze in the garden. I should have gotten this ages ago. I scanned through similar product on Amazon, took a chance on Eastern Ridge and I have not been disappointed. I guess my video will say everything needed, but in hindsight there are a few things I would like to add: 1) The mosquito net is a must. I'm so glad this is part of the bag. I don't know what purpose a mosquito has in life, but at least someone was smart enough to create a feature to curtail them. I can now relax and not worry. There is nothing more horrifying the zzzzz noise of a mosquito. 2) The design is great and it's easy to take down and replace into the bag. 3) After replacing the hammock into the bag I was actually surprised how small the bag really is. It's perfect for travelling. 4) I would really recommend those straps, they make is soooo easy. I thought it would be difficult, I didn't get instructions in the bag because you don't need any. It's really simple. Watch my video and see for yourself, the prince(me) has turned into a king! Luxury, luxury, luxury
