The backpack is as advertised in the Vaschy slogan: "Simple and Neat". Simple meaning that the design is utilitarian and purposeful, not basic or cheap. The material feels durable and sturdy. The pocket size is ideal, neither inconveniently oversized (as seems to be more and more common) nor too small to fit a regular sized laptop and books/notebooks. As a professor, I wanted something with two shoulder straps that I can carry on my walks/bikes to and from campus without the typical "sporty" or youth styling. The interior houses several pouches without compromising on the minimalist exterior design. The strap sizes are perfect for my taste, again, neither too narrow or thin, and also not oversized and bulky with extra padding. This would work great for a day hike, daily commute pack, or school backpack. The zippers are smooth and easy to work. The zipper broke on the first pack I ordered, but they replaced the pack entirely immediately. A truly top notch customer service experience and clear willingness to live up to their satisfaction claims and warranty. All this and my favorite part was the price. One of my favorite purchases in quite a while.

So I was looking for a backpack that was slim, basic, but had enough pockets for all of my gear. The Vaschy classic fits that bill. The best part that I have enjoyed about the bag is the top pocket. Its been great for my wallet and keys because it provides me quick access without having to look to the bottom of the bag every time. If your looking for a basic bag that will fit a 13inch laptop in a sleeve with a slimmer profile I would recommend this bag. This bag would be perfect for students or someone who needs a bag for travel. This bag is now my daily driver. Any other questions feel free to ask

I was expecting a much lower quality backpack for the price. Extremely impressed with the craftsmanship of the bag all around. Has a high quality zipper which was a big thing for me. Also the design team on this particular bag did an excellent job of compartmentalizing the interior of the bag itself. Inside are multiple zipper pockets perfect pens, phones, wallets, chargers etc. Another small thing that I liked is that it has two side pockets for water bottles instead of one and not only that buy they are designed well enough to where your water bottle or travel mug won't easily fall out. I have had every back pack from Jansport to hershel, burton, northface and for the quality that you get for the price that you pay with these bags, there is no other reason to buy any other.

COMFORT: 5/5. The shoulder straps are nicely padded and there is a good amount of cushioning in the lumbar area. I sometimes have to walk across campus (~15mins) but it feels very light, even with several notebooks and a laptop. DESIGN: 5/5. I'm a sucker for simplicity. I chose the all-black design because it looks so much more cleaner and it's easier to wipe off dirt. The. material seems durable as well. UTILITY: 5/5. The product title says it can fit 14in laptops but my 15in MacBook Pro with a case fits with ample room left for my tablet. The front pouch is nice and big to fit my midday snacks and a water bottle. I think my favorite is the other mesh pouch with a zipper inside the backpack. It keeps my writing utensils and portable charger pack in place. DURABILITY: 4/5. I had a minor issue with the zipper mechanism but the support reached out to me for a solution. Other than that, the backpack is well built.

Really awesome for the price. I'm a college student and I had this with me during my last two years of college and during a trip to europe. I'm downright surprised there have been no tears yet. The leather ties on the zippers are silly and come off easily, so I just removed them. Extras are provided, though just in case. I can fit my laptop and supplies in here just fine, which I was really worried about when purchasing this. Not completely waterproof, but you could spray it with a waterproof fixative like I did and you'll be good. I mainly bought this for the size, and because I wanted to customize my backpack.

Very nice quality. Bought this three years ago and it still looks like new. It's a little slimmer and "dressier" than most backpacks, if that makes sense. And it has a little more structure than other backpacks I've purchased. Great for carrying books or a laptop.

Arrived on time, pleased with the product, used it for two days on my commute to work and back and it’s a pretty cool bag for the price. Holds my MacBook just fine feels seizure as well as charging cables and still enough space and compartments for the everyday things. Awesome bag, I purchased the black with camo front pocket. Great backpack. I was out and it started to rain, check my stuff all was dry. Not a single drop of water inside, also I has very light weight to it. Considering I've put two jackets, lunch. Didn't feel like I was carrying anything. I like the hole it has for my portable charger, don't have to carry the portable charger on my hand anymore. Lovw the multiple pockets inside. Even my friends ask me where I got it. Best backpack ever!

My son calls this thing the Tardis, after Dr. Who’s magically spacious phone box. It is about one third smaller in dimensions than every other school bag we have, yet it holds double. It’s very cleverly designed and has great ergonomics for a comfortable fit when carrying half the school library, a computer, all the supplies and lunch to school. Only issue is when the bag is full the drink holders are tight to get in a water bottle, but with a little huffing and puffing we get one in. Make the water bottle pockets a little more generous and this would be the best school bag in the market.

Great bag, I use it everyday for work, school, and the gym. I have had it for over a year now and it has not let me down! A lot of storage for everything and super cute!

Got this for my son in high school. He insisted it would be enough to fit everything he needed although I was skeptical. Turns out he was right! It's very spacious fits everything he needs in there, including laptop swimming gear and books etc. After nearly a year of very rough use, the bag has lasted looking almost as good as new.
