The inner canister separated from the outer canister i think because of the hot drink pressure. Anyone else experience this? I popped the top open.

Yeah . I actually threw mine away because of it. It seems the gasket or seal is flimsy and the only thing that holds both cups together. If you still want it you may have to use a bonding agent to keep them together

Don’t think so. I just keep buying new ones, because I love the mug. Ii drink a lot of loose tea. Also great for a tea bag, w/o tag. Just pour in water & leave. There is a new model, however, I didn’t like the flip up handle. You can contact Aladdin & ask them.
