Easy to install and perfect fit. I popped out the cap as I did not need it because I have an umbrella.

Does not fit tightly in the umbrella hole. I’m not sure if it is supposed to or not. Hopefully it will stay put when I put the umbrella in.

I mis-measured my patio table and this one was actually too small. Looking it over though, I think would work well in the long run. The center piece/plug is of hard clear plastic and the ring is flexible silicone, something like a rubber kitchen utensil. I feel like the clear material will likely get white or yellow when exposed to the sun for a while, but as long as it doesn't affect the purpose it shouldn't matter. This would work great for a glass table, like mine, that you wouldn't want the umbrella to wobble back and forth and chip or break.

After my patio table ring cracked and fell apart, this silicone ring was the perfect replacement
