Great product but Amazon did not deliver on time.

no instruction, no way to connect to helmet unless you cut your original D rings and sew it on. My helmet strap was wider than this buckle.

So what they fail to tell you is you need something to be able to attach this to your current D rings on your helmet. I used some old straps and burnt them together then used some good old cat gut string to ensure that they were secure on the helmet. They work really well other than that one little fact. They do have a suggestion for an add on item, I just assumed it was not necessary, assumed being the key word. So if you don't know how to sew or don't know any other way to attach the item on the one side. Buy the add on item so that you can connect this.

after checking my helmet there is no way to install on the side with D rings.

Easy to attach, much better than just the D rings

It works fine if you sew it onto your d rings. The spring and catch work better, the more you fiddle with them. You do need to file off the sharp edges. But for the price, with a little work, these are great.

Does not fasten to helmet strap with out having to sew it.

To small and very hard to on do, will not fit on the straps . Should have what size of strap does it fit. My strap is 25 cm wide.
