High Quality Product
Debatable purchase at SteelSeries' original asking price of GBP129.99, but at the currently listed price (44.99 at the time of writing) at which I purchased the mouse, it's a very easy recommendation. The build quality of this mouse is very high, it feels top of the line. The weight is a little above current trends at ~80g (for FPS oriented products), but that aids to the feel of a premium product. The weight does not feel inappropriate to me, but if you are looking for an ultralight product, then there are better options. I'm not trying to write an in-depth review, so I will just highlight my caveats and experiences with this mouse: - The scroll wheel is good in terms of how rigid it feels, and the click feels good to me as well, but it has started to occasionally squeak after approximately 2 weeks of use. it doesn't bother me, but I would consider it a flaw. - I really like the idea of the optical switches for the clicks, especially with the whole Logitech Omron switch debacle, but my only concern is that the click tension is a bit too high for my liking. It feels like it may cause strain on my index finger at some point. So far it's okay, but I do sometimes switch to a mouse with a lighter click in office work for example. I use Kailh GM 8.0s in my MX Ergo trackball (to prevent RSI I sometimes switch to a trackball), and the clicks are noticeably more comfortable. - Waking from sleep is a little slow. I think waking from sleep takes ~3s. Since I like to switch between this and a trackball, and also I have a keyboard/mouse switch as well, which will also reset the connection when i switch to a different computer, this can sometimes be a bit too slow. You can turn this off in their GG software, and make it such that there is no sleep, but this will likely affect battery life. By how much I am unsure, but for now I have turned off sleep and will try to remember to switch off the mouse when I leave my computer. - The stock mouse feet are quite good. Summary: I really like this mouse, and it's very good value for money at GBP44.99. I use this as my main mouse at the moment when working on my desktop computer and it feels close to endgame. There are some minor flaws that are listed above, but are forgivable at this price point. This is a competitive mouse, and competes with other flagship gaming mouse offerings.

Honestly? Perfect.
Okay, I have tested a lot of mice. (In order) Steelseries rival 700, Glorious model o, glorious model o-, glorious model o wireless. My main being the model o wireless, this mouse is good, decent performance, okayish quality, meh software. Now started to get issues with that, mouse stutter, shell is flimsy etc I bit the bullet and paid £130 for the prime wirelss and I don't regit it one little bit. Build quality is absolutely amazing. Mouse clicks are crisp, the matt finish is fantastic, the scroll wheel is solid. What else can I say, if your a serious gamer and want a serious mouse. This is your pick! Secretly I am a Steelseries fan boy at heart.

Great lightweight mouse
Bought as a replacement after my old wired steel series died. A great mouse, very light weight and has great battery life. Easy to swap to the cable too if it runs out after a long session. Great budget mouse I would highly recommend.

Good Mouse design. But low spec optics + Poor QC
Comfy and accurate. At least good enough for casual/home gamers, can't speak for the pros as the optic sensor is not amount the top grade. More along the 2nd teir. Non-the-less, I can't tell the difference between 2nd tier vs top teir, the shape matters more to me in terms of helping improving my accuracy. Should be a perfect mouse for 49 pounds then, as the RRP is 140 euros, dropping down to 60 euros makes it a bargarn in the price bracket. Oh boy, can I be more wrong this time. My battery never charges to 100%. I initially was wondering why connecting to a cable for 3 hours didn't get it to 100%. then I tried a phone charger to charge it when my computer is off. left it over night, it's still charging! It's a bit dangerous to keep li-on battery charging for this long. I'm getting a replacement for this. TBH, I'm a long term SteelSeries kb/m user, their products were never the best, always have some flaw here and there, but usually at the same price bracket, you do get really pratically good product from SS. QC has been a bit on the down slop in recent years. My APEX pro keyboard also developed 2 faulty LED within a year. Couldn't care less about the LED, but with this mouse's battery problem, it's getting me to thinking about their product quality. Bottom line, great mouse if not faulty, if you don't sweat at the top 0.1% in gaming, this is a great product, as long as you are willing to deal with the QC lottory.

Some flaws, but overall a good mouse
Going to keep this review simple, here are some positives: + All of the buttons feel quite nice and crispy, low pre travel, moderate post travel + Build quality is fairly good, no creaking when pressed on the sides + Excellent stock feet, they seem slightly rounded and the glide was close to perfect out of the box on both fast and slow pads + Wireless works pretty well, haven't had any issues with it thus far + Click latency seems okay + No issue with the sensor (TrueMove Air is just a PAW3335, but it works well enough in the Prime Wireless) + Great battery life! I lowered the polling rate to 500Hz and it's still going strong after a week of moderate use + USB-C charging and you get a pretty nice extender for the dongle in the box. The charging cable is also quite nice, it's a fairly flexible paracorded cable that puts Logitech's to shame Neutral points: +/- If you have larger hands then this ergo shape won't feel great. I have about 20x10 cm hands and I can't palm it comfortably so I'm forced to fingertip grip it. Palm grip will work if you have small to medium sized hands, I've attached a photo with it compared to a GPX (which is a medium sized mouse), they're basically the same size +/- The mouse was at 81 grams on my scale, which is on par with what SteelSeries quotes for the mouse. That being said, compared to the similarly sized GPX (60 grams) then the Prime Wireless will feel noticeably heavier. Overall the weight is fine for a wireless mouse at this size As for the negatives: - Takes 1-2 seconds for the mouse to wake up from sleep, the Superlight for example does so almost instantly - The main clicks are quite loud - Scroll wheel is pretty hard to press and can randomly start squeaking, but mind you this only happened 3 times during a week and only if you're scrolling very fast, so it doesn't seem to be that big of an issue - While the mouse feels solid, pressing on it from the bottom will get it to creak, albeit that doesn't happen during regular use - The coating or lack thereof can make the mouse feel a little slippery if you have dry hands - The SteelSeries software is abysmal. Dear SteelSeries, I just want a simple software to be able to customize this mouse, no, I do not want your software to start adding audio devices (which interfered with my current audio device setup), and also used a lot of my system resources for absolutely no reason. On the bright side the mouse has persistent profiles so you can uninstall SteelSeries Engine after you're done setting it up Overall, great mouse with small niggles. Would highly recommend it if it's on sale if you have small to medium sized hands and are looking for a mouse to palm grip.

Perfect for FPS gaming
I would say this is the perfect mouse for FPS gaming - the feel and the acceleration curve is just perfect compared to anything else I’ve used. For general office use though it’s not so great - the acceleration curve is a bit too slow, and the mouse takes a while to turn back on after sleeping. In addition, the bulk of the wireless adapter (and it is only usb c) might annoy you a bit if you are using a laptop.

Excellent Mouse
I managed to snag this on Amazon for just over 40 quid and at that price, it's an absolute bargain. I've tried ergos from Zowie, Glorious, Vaxee, Xtrfy, Pulsar, etc, and this is one of my favourites. It's far from an extreme ergo shape but it fits my grip perfectly. Not the lightest mouse (about 70g) I've used and I'd rate it as medium sized. My hands are on the smaller side and I've no issues with it. The clicks are amazing, sensor is great, coating is good, and the battery life is solid. About 70 hours or so, with the RGB enabled. I think it retailed at £130 initially and the build quality reflects that. Not a hint of creaking or rattling. I definitely recommend this mouse, especially if you can get a deal on it.
