Good materials poorly executed
Reasonable materials but badly made. One thing to note, there is very little ‘seating’ to keep the blade vertical and it tilts side-to-side as you saw. Very disappointing in that the primary thing I require from a hacksaw is that the blade stays fixed vertically or horizontally

Craftsman Hand Saw 12inch
Steady n sturdy when use.

Replaces a foldable saw (somewhat)
I bought this after my foldable saw that I used to cut small trees down broke at the end of the blade. This saw is a good replacement, but it does take more effort to cut down trees. If you're interested in a saw that uses less effort, you should probably look into something else (albeit it will be more expensive). For my purposes, this was cheap and I'm able to cut down Christmas tree size trunks (with some effort). It probably isn't designed for this but it seems sturdy enough.
